Answer:	I'm not familiar with the Maglite 7c. It works great in my 6D Maglite. The base is just like any other standard bulb for Maglite and other flashlights. It just has led in place of an incandescent bulb.

Answer:	It worked well with a 6-cell.
Question:	How many lumens are produced by the bulb
Answer:	The description says "3D 4D 5D 6D". I put my bulb in a 4D cell Maglite and it is about 300 lumens when compared to other flashlights of that brightness.
Question:	Incandescent bulbs
Answer:	This goes up to 6 cell. So @ 1.5v per cell (typical alkaline cell voltage) 9v is probably about it but probably over driving the LED. I'd stop at 4 cell. Size C or D is irrelevant. If you want to be clever, 2 LiIo 18650 protected cells which are 3.7 - 4.2v would be the sweet spot but you'd need an adapter to keep the batteries centered in the flashlight.

Question:	Is there a way to operate this bulb by the wall switch manually or just through the app
Answer:	Yes, leave your light switch on. A sensor inside the bulb will take care of switching on and off. Amazing product. I have them on the front and rear entrances and both sides of the garage. No problem also in subzero weather. Best part is they are on only when dark so expecting less than 3 dollars a year of electrical usage to keep all 4 of them lighting up my home.
Question:	What is the operating temperature range? Where I live, it gets very cold in the winter
Answer:	If the bulbs are close to each other and in sight of each other, yes, they will cancel each other. I have a 2-bulb porch light with a decorative cover. I had to insert a cardboard partition between the two bulbs, so light from one would not reach the other. That worked, and now they both come on.
Question:	Is this light compatible with Smartthings app? I know it doesn’t need a hub but can I control it through the smartthings app
Answer:	These bulbs work fine dusk to dawn for us. And, yes, they do screw into the fixture upside down.

Answer:	I just tried the motion-sensor bulb in a (very slightly) frosted glass lantern and it does not work. I will have to try it somewhere else. But the dusk-to-dawn bulbs work perfectly in frosted glass.

Answer:	I’m not sure since I’m not using the bulb with any shade. It is close in size to a regular incandescent bulb at the top and it appears like it may work but it it’s long design might not accommodate the clip of the shade to clasp around the bulb and because it lacks the bulb head shape.

Answer:	I have both types and the recessed ones are specifically to fit can-light openings. I have put the other bulb in my cans before and trust me the recessed ones look and fit better.

Question:	Can i control with with my phone without the bridge
Answer:	Yes. You can use the Philips Hue bulbs outside. Just keep in mid 3 very important things - the first thing is, since they are WIFI controlled, they need to be in range of your WIFI router in order for you to operate them via WIFI. The second thing is, according to Philips, outdoor use of Hue bulbs will likely decrease the lifespan of the bulb considerably in comparison to when used indoors. The third thing is a personal observation - they are very expensive bulbs and hotly sought after. Installing them outside makes them susceptible to being stolen! If you're installing Hue color bulbs, you will obviously change the color of the lights. Others will see observe this and assume you have Philips or some other smart bulb (which they're all expensive), making them more susceptible to being stolen. Just a heads-up.

Two modes of connecting light bulbs

EZ mode(quick mode)

• Download Smart Life App
• Manually add lighting equipment and select WiFi connection
• power on the bulb with your switch,and repeatedly turn “on-off-on-off-on” the switch to activate the bulb into rapid blinking status.
• wait till the bulb rapidly blinks(about 0.5second per blink).tap the confirmation button

AP mode(slow mode)

• If the bulb can't be connected, try clicking on "AP mode" in the top right corner.Power on the bulb with your switch
• when the bulb into rapid blinking status,then turn “on-off-on-off-on”,ensure light is slowly flashing,tap the confirmation button.

How to control multiple bulbs at the same time？

1. Open the Smart life app

2. Click on the “Home” page

3. Choose one of the bulbs you want to control

4. Click the“...” option in the top right corner

5. Click “Create Group”

6. Choose all the bulbs you want to control

How to connect with Alexa Echo?

1. Tap “Skills&Games” in the app menu, then search “Smart Life”. Select “Smart Life” and tap “ENABLE” to enable the Skill.
2. Type in your Smart Life account and password, don’t forget to select the country/region where your account belongs to. Then tap “Link Now”.
3. After the skill binding is successful, Click “DISCOVER DEVICES” then Discovered devices will be shown in the list.

Note:

• Every time you change the device’s name on Smart Life app, Echo must re-discover before you control them.
• Make sure that your Alexa app is connected to Amazon Echo,and both work together successfully under your WiFi home network
