Answer:	I purchased 1 online and one from the Xfinity store and was able to pair them both to my Xfinity Home hub without issues. I need 1 more but I'll get it from the Xfinity Store because it's a bit less expensive. I love these locks!
Question:	Can you use this to prevent children going outside at night
Answer:	The Kwikset 99130-002 SmartCode 913 does not have Alexa built in and since it is a Z-Wave protocol device, it will not work with any of the hub-enabled Echo devices. However, if you get a Z-Wave compatible hub, such as Samsung Smartthings hub, you can incorporate that into your network (pretty easy), then you can tell (or ask) Alexa to lock the door. I hope this helps.
Question:	can the autolock delay be set to 10 minutes
Answer:	That is probably best asked of Kwikset who can be reached at their website. My opinion is that if it can be subjected directly to moisture (rain, snow) and extreme temperatures that would be a problem since the keypad is on the outside. The main electronics are in the inside unit and would thereby be protected. I have one installed on my front door but it is protected by a storm door and roof over the front stoop. If practical the installation of a storm door would probably give it the necessary protection.

Answer:	No. This is a fire hazard and is illegal for the same reason as double cylinder deadbolts. I got a security chain and put it at the top of the door where my kids can't reach.

Answer:	I believe you can but so far we haven’t downloaded the app to my wife’s phone yet.

Answer:	This lock is great and I would think that it would work on the apartment door. I installed this 3 weeks ago on our house and it is working great. You just need to use your phone app to do all the programing on it. You may need to talk to someone in the apartment office if you can have this installed. And if you do install this don't forget to keep the old one so you can change it back and take this one with you.

Answer:	Inside unit 6 inches high and 3 inches wide

Answer:	If you mean the direction (left hand vs right hand), then yes it is reversible. It automatically learns the direction when you insert the battery pack. If that is not working correctly, try holding the middle button while you insert the battery pack and once it's inserted release and push the middle button once more and it will learn the direction.

Answer:	No. But honestly, I have had lots of problems with the lock since purchase. I don't trust it. Have changes the batteries mutliple times. It simply is not reliable. Answer:	We installed my father's lock on December 26th - by January 1st, the lock was dead .. installed 4 more high quality batteries on January 1st and today (January 11th), battery status is down to 19% ... Just got off the phone with Kwikset and now they are telling me that if my father's router isn't on their list of compatible routers, all batteries will drain extremely fast ... would have been nice to have known that --- we bought this for my 93 year old father who lives alone ... not happy with Kwikset right now.

Door Handing

Before you start the door handing process, determine if the bolt extends to the left or right.

Press the 'Program' button. You will hear two long beeps. Then press the 'Lock' button.

If your bolt extends to the left, press the '1 2' button.

If you bolt extends to the right, press the '5 6' button.

Step 3

Press the 'Program' button. You will hear one long beep.

Answer:	It doesn’t need a special hub. You can set it up as a skill with Alexa. There is a passcode you have to set as a security feature. Wouldn’t want anyone saying “Alexa, unlock the door” and your door unlocking. You have to say Alexa unlock the door and then state the passcode.
Question:	Is the touch screen the only difference vs the less expensive kwikset 99380-001 halo wi-fi smart lock keyless entry
Answer:	You are correct, but the touch screen is described as "more secure". Not sure I agree, but the theory is that keys on the key pad either get dirty or the numbers show wear. Some people think this may be a security flaw as it can reveal the four keys used in your code. Apparently a thief can try different combinations and may crack your code if they can see which four keys show the most wear. The touchscreen has a way to "hide" finger prints so your code stays more secure. Your call if that justifies the higher price or not...
