Answer:	I am using these in a 13" cubicle (IKEA cubicle shelf). They look fine. There are some rooms on both side so that they are not aligned perfectly straight, but I am very happy with these bins in my cubicle shelf.

Answer:	I would think that they are not waterproof. They are made out of fabric
