Answer:	I dont think they would be comfortable at all. there wider than a shoe so just a foot would slide around in it. Dont get me wrong it would be possible just not a comfortable feeling and wouldnt be able to run in them properly.

Answer:	My hubs wears size 10.5 shoe & we got size XL in these boots. They are pretty snug~ especially at first but are workable with talcum powder inside first. I would get a larger size for you~ if they have one. Also just FYI~ these boots are heavier than the rubber Tingley boots, but they are the only ones we found in the 17" length that don't have any openings in them (like the buckle boots). These are much better compared to the buckle boots other than being a bit heavy. They are more of a pvc material than rubber.

Answer:	The total thickness of the sole is about 1 centimeter which includes 0.5 centimeter for the "skin" (base surface of the sole) and another 0.5 centimeter for the "treading" or little knobbies attached to the "skin". I have the low cut shoe cover and am not certain if the thickness is the same across the board for the high cut and medium cut. The thickness is adequate for my use of walking around light trails. They are sturdy.

Answer:	I ordered Large to fit over mens' size10 old running shoes. It was a difficult to get them on. I left them on the shoes permanently for wet outdoor work. For a woman's 9 running shoe, I would guess the Medium size.

Answer:	I'd say this- Road shoes with a small amount of sole? Go small- Lugged MTB shoe with large lugs- Go Large/XL.

Answer:	Capella, I can't speak directly to your question, but can share my experience. I use the largest option over my sz. 46 Men's MTB shoes, which means a lugged sole, etc. and they are a struggle to get on. It will make a difference if you're wearing them over Road or MTB shoes. I'd guess the smaller size would fit over a size 40 road shoe. Spray a little Silicon spray Lube on the shoes or inside the covers if they are a tight fit. AND...Do your best NOT to walk on concrete type surfaces, as the bottoms do wear more. These new models with the additional material should wear much better. I was glad to see they'd updated the design/construction. P.S. I also wear them over my XC ski boots and they've help keep my feet warm, even when skiing at -30f. I do also use chemical Toe warmers in extreme cold condition.

Answer:	Mine are tight at 46's or around 11. but i wear them over MTB shoes, w/ a lugged sole. They do have some stretch to them. so you could spray the insides with Silicon Spray to slip them on easier.

Answer:	These boots are VERY heavy. I would think that using these with the added weight of cowboy boots would load most people down so as to be a challenge to walk. But, yes I believe CB boots would fit into the overshoes. I had bought 3 pairs, one for me and two for my grown sons. One son will no longer wear them because they are too heavy; and I myself use slippersocks instead of shoes for working in the snow.
