We are Jerry and Alix, a busy husband and wife who wanted to spend more time together. Jerry is a Chemical Engineer and research enthusiast who is now a ceramic expert. Alix is an artist, and coffee lover who deals with anxiety and came up with the Hit Pause method. We spent months researching the right glaze, clay material, plate shape, and design. During our design process, we combined the beauty of handcrafted pottery with the functionality of everyday kitchen essentials.

Question:	What is the highest oven temperature that is safe for the plates
Answer:	Since the ceramic firing temperature, at 1500 degrees F, is much higher than the temperature your standard oven uses, any cooking temperature is safe for the plates. Since most broilers get up to about 550 degrees F, this should not be a problem. I would make sure the ceramic is not too cold before putting it in the oven so that it is not a drastic change in temperature all at once.
