I purchased these for them and they LOVE that they shake and add an extra dimension to the noise of this toy. The only drawback is that these don't have "green" and they are plastic. Currently they are $8 (Prime) for a set of extras. They do hold up very well though considering the twins fight over them constantly and bang them around with the hammer and any other toy they can find. Question:	What does the wooden catipillar do
Answer:	I know this is an old question but for anyone else looking... I would not recommend this for babies/toddlers. My son is 14 months and he sticks EVERYTHING in his mouth. He takes the sticks and puts them in his mouth and tries to walk around. All I can picture is him tripping and shoving down his throat. Then, the instruments with the bells, he puts the bells in his mouth. While they seem pretty secure, they might not all be. I wouldn’t get this for any child younger than 3.
