What you want to do is turn the square perpendicular to the string and put the short end of the “L” into the deepest part of the hand grip (below where the arrow sits). If you place the short end against the grip it will then give you an accurate tension reading on the long side of the “L”. Hope that helps! |

| Answer: | Yes these will work.. other posters are correct when they say these weigh over 400. with a 100 grain tip they weigh in @ around 412gr. the 13.78gpi is for the carbon shaft weight only. they leave out the vane, knock and insert weight because some have 3" vanes, some have 4" some have moon knocks that weight less than blunt face knocks, some have aluminum inserts some have brass. to many variables to list. But long story short.. the lightest option is with the 3" vanes, moon knock and aluminum insert.. with these you get around 412gr total, they only get heavier from there. |

| Answer: | No problems with 25 pound bows. These are arrows for short bows and work great on a 36" compound bow. The draw back still gives a few inches to tip before release. You should have no problem with any poundage of any small junior (teen or lower) bow. |

| Answer: | These arrows have a crimped on tip, which is considered a target practice arrow. The tips aren't normally removed and/or replaced. Like for instance the tip can't be changed out for a hunting tip. Target practice only. However; the arrows which come with a Barnett Jr. Archery Bows do have arrows which you may replace the tips with practice or hunting tips. These specific tips aren't intended to be removed. | Answer: | I have no idea what the brand of bolts are that come with this bow. They had no markings on them at all. I also didn’t take the time to weigh them either. To be honest I felt that the bolts this bow comes with are complete junk. I used them long enough to feel how the bow shoots and that’s it. Also after a few shooting sessions they all ended up breaking. Whether they broke or not I planned to replace them anyway. I bought Easton magnum xx75’s. Reasonably priced at the local Dunham’s. While these bolts are heavier and don’t shoot as far, they are much harder hitting abs overall make the bow perform better. The stock bolts were so light that I had a problem where the string smacked the one rubber stopper so hard that it would bounce and jump away from the string after every shot. These now bolts cured that problem. Also I put on some limb saver dampeners and that helped even more and reduced the sound of the shot significantly. I would highly recommend replacing the bolts right away if you get this bow. You’ll see why if you buy it. It’s such a nice bow for the price I had no problem replacing the bolts. |
