Answer:	I used this with Windows 8 OK but had great difficulty installing an operating program, including those recommended. Clearview does have good recommendations but I didn't go with it because it costs and manufacturer stated "Free Download". In the end I was very dissatisfied with the flight performance and returned it to Amazon for credit. Purchased Real Flight 6 for more money but it works far better.I also tried to contact the seller twice to get help on the operating program download and received no response. Anyone else thinking of buying this product could expect the same snub!

Answer:	No. You must use the dongle it came with. That holds security authorization that allows the program to run.

Answer:	Yes it will. I have one working with my RealFlight 9 through Steam on my DX9 controller. Please note that I can only get it to support 8 channels but this is consistent with the WS1000 dongle from Spektrum as well.
Question:	Does it work with phoenix rc simulator
Answer:	For Phoenix R/C. this interface WILL NOT WORK. Phoenix uses a proprietary interface which also includes the software dongle. To use the Phoenix dongle without wires, you need a PPM receiver. For example the AR7700 - https://www.amazon.com/Spektrum-Serial-Receiver/dp/B017L9IFTU. I'm pretty sure that Orange also sells one. You'll also need to interface the receiver's PPM output to a 1/8" (3.5mm) jack, either by sourcing one or soldering one.

I use an align a10 transmitter with mine. My only complaint is that it does not seem to pass very fine controls through so the trim is always slightly off... Just like in real life. This may also be a result of my settings.

Answer:	I've used it with other rc flight sim games. works pretty well. in general, the lower range spektrum controllers aren't great for simulators because they are basically taking advantage of the wired trainer mode and still need battery changes often.

Answer:	no, Its not a true spektrum radio. Its the shell of a spektrum radio specifically for use with a computer

Answer:	Horizonhobby should have the game only. $99. Then you need the SPMWS2000 Spektrum USB dongle $39.99. The dongle will allow you to BIND your dxe to the computer. It works very well. Just make sure in the specs that your dxe is compatible with the dongle.
Question:	My computer won't down load rf flight 9. I get a reponse that says "wrong version" or "corrupt". How do I solve this problem
