Answer:	The answer from September 18, 2018 is not painting a full picture, and is slightly uninformed. Ploycarbonate (PC), like most any other plastic, can be colored. Polycarbonate is able to achieve great strength and clarity, which is why it is often used in clear applications, but you'll find colored plastic parts/products made of PC. BPA is also used in the production of most PVC products - from the looks of it, the storage bag is made of PVC, which is also likely why the product carries the Prop65 Warning (PVC is part of the prop 65 list of naughty materials). I weather-proofed it by applying a wood stain, which I'd recommend over sealing the wood because cedar is a great flea and tick repellent. I'd say go to Lowe's or Home Depot and ask in the paint department for a recommendation on what to use with cedar. Whatever you use, it should be renewed every few years to maintain efficiency.

The sides, while quite passable aren’t as deck-like as the others either, they’re sort of ridged whereas most of the others you find today have that scratched on look. I think overall it’s great for the price.

Question:	How do you clean the toys? If I use alcohol, will the paint come off
Answer:	I would not use alcohol because babies put them in their mouths and the residue alcohol leaves is nasty. I just wash mine with soap and water, rinsing them well. You could do it with vinegar water as well as vinegar kills germs. They are not painted so colors don’t come off. Babies love these.

Answer:	No, my grand daughter is 9 months now and has been enjoying these since 3 months. They encourage grasping and have areas that are small enough for a babies little hand to hold. They have various features such as squeeking, rattling, jingling. I have been quite pleased with this purchase.
