Answer:	I am not sure of the type. It is of a good quality (better for example than that used by Midori) There is a lightly waxed feel to it, nothing that rubs off. I have bought two and both look same in construction, slightly different in coloration which is indicative of being handmade (a good thing). Mine has already been in and out of my book bag many times and these will definitely take on a worn look like baseball glove or other good leather things (patina, the effect on leather not the green type as occurs on metal)

Answer:	I prefer fat pens myself! It's a fine writing pen that's well-made and looks great. But as the name suggests, it's the kind of pen you pull out quickly for short writing. Be sure you're sitting down before viewing the price, I love which has real mass to it and a comfortable feel. It's a medium point - which I also prefer for a light writing touch. Plenty of fat pens out there to choose from so take your time and browse

Answer:	0.7mm. I've had Cross pen and pencil sets for over thiry-five years. I like the larger pencil lead size. It doesen't break as easy, or as much, as when the Cross pencils were 0.5mm. jd

Answer:	Cross pens have not been assembled in USA from Chinese parts since 2004. Cross pens have not been made in USA since 1998. Cross is just a brand name now. The Cross company that designed and made the great pens of the 20th century does not exist anymore. The name is now owned by a capital fund that shops in China for pens to sell under the Cross name hoping consumers still think they are the same quality pens of old.
