Answer:	If they say it is, they're lying. In fact, the seal around that gas spring on the left hand side will more than likely fail and spray oil all over whatever is in the container in a fire. Most of them only hold up to a few hundred degrees at best and a house fire is 800-1200F.

Answer:	Installing the safe to a wooden floor is pretty easy, however mounting to a side wall would require one to drill extra holes. The safe comes with pre-drilled holes on the bottom, so mounting it to the floor is not hard.

Answer:	Number depends on how you want to put them in. If you just want to dump them in a pile and shove them in it would hold 20-30. Organizing and making easy access would lower the number. Would not recommend this safe to anyone. Lock quit working very quickly. When I called the girl on the phone gave me the exact specs as to where to drill to open it. That says to me that this same problem with the locks must be pretty commom if the girl answering the phone has this data.
