The electrical connection to the battery holder is just mechanical so the corrosion is very difficult to cure.

Answer:	Yes, this headlamp will fit an adult. It has an adjustable top strap and the Velcro allows for some wiggle room as well. I bought it for my boyfriend and he's a big guy with a big head. It fits him fairly snug, but still comfortable. It's a fun little headlamp and the light is super bright. Highly recommend it.
Question:	Does it only roar when turned on or the entire time that it is on
