Question:	Will it work on clog that is several feet past the trap in shower
Answer:	At least in my bathroom sink, it was a disaster. This product dissolved something and the pvc pipe detached from the pipe under the sink causing a leak that damaged everything I had inside the cabinet and the hair was still in there. I had a clogged sink and now I have a useless sink because I have to find a plumber to fix the pipes. Thankfully I have two more bathrooms with sinks that I can use. Take the risk if you want, I'm not using it never again.

Answer:	I think it depends on how long a pipe you have and the pitch of the pipe. I have a 30 ft almost level drain from my kitchen sink. I had a very slow drain but it was many feet past the trap so the blockage did not backup the water quickly. I tried 4 applications of Green Gobbler over 2 days (yes I used hot water, 30 minute soak, overnight soak, boiling water, etc) and it did not work. I will try the Green main line stuff, and the bio-clean. Hope something works.

Answer:	My disposal was clogged up when it quit working and the water was also backed up in my dishwasher. I ordered some more Green Gobbler with the 2 spouts and used one in my disposal, waited 15 minutes +, then poured a pan of hot water in it again about 15 or so minutes. It just sat there and didn't go down, but the next morning it was down. I poured another pan of hot water in and the clog was gone. Had to dip out my dishwasher, but then everything worked well. BTW, I wouldn't recommend standing over the sink after pouring in the hot water, because it does fume some.

Answer:	I found a website that says the main ingredient is Sodium Bisulfate, Anhydrous Globular (NaH8O4) . I was hoping for scum-eating bacteria. Anyway, all biodegradable. I'm a little skeptical about a reviewer's understanding when they parrotted the company line "Green Gobbler's active ingredient acts as an emulsifier to liquefy solids" which sounds like gobbledygook to me, the daughter of a chemist. Sodium Bisulfate is acidic, so that's why instructions are to keep it off metal surfaces and why it apparently also etches into porcelain products. I would wear rubber gloves when working with it.

Answer:	Liquid-Plumr probably can be used in the clothes washer drain. That's the drain, not the clothes washer itself. You'd have pour some Liquid-Plumr into the place where the discharge water that comes out of the washing machine drains into a sink or a pipe.

If your doing preventive matience go with draino make sure it's safe for your bowl and pipes however.
Question:	How does this product differ from your other products without enzymes
Answer:	We have used this in the bathroom sinks, the toilet which was pretty amazing, cleared the drain very quickly, actually removed the rust stain that had been on the commode for a very long time. We did have an issue with the shower drain because we have a rain shower head, we did not get enough water into the drain which resulted in the entire house smelling like rotten eggs for many, many hours. You need to have lots of water ready to go when you use this product. It did, however, work!

Answer:	No. If you are having a drain problem, check that your filter is clean and reduce the amount of detergent you use. Don’t use gel packs, use a powder or gel that you can dispense in small amounts...less is better. Maybe a tablespoon or two at most. But clean the filter too and do it regularly. If you still have an issue, then you likely have a problem with the plumbing or with the machine itself and you will need to get a professional in.

Answer:	Build up remover is a live bacteria product that is designed to digest fats, oils and grease along with organic material like hair, toothpaste, etc in pipes and drains. It will not damage the inside of dishwashers, and if allowed to sit overnight it will help eliminate organic buildup inside the drains. Answer:	I just had my plumber here and he suggested getting some of this stuff. I had an upstairs bathroom sink draining very slowly. He cleared the drain and told me to buy this stuff - or anything comparable, that said "enzymatic" on it - he said to use a powdered solution, like this product, and use it 5 night in a row and then once a month after that. He told me I could START in any drain in the house - the bathtub drain, the bathroom sink drain, the kitchen sink drain - he said it didn't matter because once the enzymes got started, they grow and look for nutrients throughout the pipes, and will spread on their own. You have to treat it once a month because these little enzymes don't last forever, however much gunk they can feed off inside your drains. So I will be starting on my upstairs bathroom sink, and probably maintain it from there or the kitchen sink.
Question:	Does this work for restaurant drains

Answer:	This product isn't designed for daily use toilet bowls. The live bacteria in the product will continue to multiply as long as a food source is present (degrading organic material while producing water and CO2 as the benign byproducts), however if you pour it into a toilet bowl the bacteria will be carried away in the water. It is designed to be used in slow moving drains and sinks at night or at a time where little to no water will be dumped down the drain. It should be used regularly as a safe preventative maintenance.
