Answer:	The other answers really don't address your question. Hint to others: if someone is asking a question like this, they probably aren't familiar with jargon like "drive size." The 1/2" vs 3/8" refers to the size of the square lug at the end of the ratchet that you fasten the sockets to. 3/8" sockets will have a 3/8" opening that goes onto the rotating lug of the ratchet. Obviously bigger is more sturdy, but for general home use 3/8" would be plenty adequate. They even make 1/4" drive that's lighter duty, but 3/8" is a popular size and good for overall use. 1/2" would generally be for heavier duty like general automotive bolts. 3/4" and 1" drive sizes get you into heavier automotive (trucks and bigger) and industrial applications.

Question:	Is this good to use manually
Answer:	Warranties are always handled by the manufacturer, who determines if it's a defect in workmanship or if the tool was abused.
Question:	Is this a shallow set
Answer:	Yes you can use them with a ratchet. They are just thicker and usually stronger then chrome sockets. There are some areas that a chrome socket or a thin wall socket is needed like some lug nuts but otherwise these are great for everyday use

Answer:	In their description they are missing the 8 and 9 mm standard and deep sockets.

Answer:	I wouldn't consider them any thinner than your common 1/4" drive impact sockets. However, I have not compared to others alike.

Answer:	With 6 point you are less likely to round off bolt, especially with impact gun.

Answer:	Im relatively sure they are made in china, as most things nowadays are. Either way they are definitly worth the money. I have used em on everything from lug nuts to lower control arm bolts and have had no issues. Spending 50 compared to 400, this is the way to go

Answer:	The short answer is yes, with some minor caveats. Depending on what you're wrenching on, an impact socket can be used in place of a normal socket when using a normal (non-impact) ratchet. A hand ratchet will connect and drive an impact socket just as it would with a normal socket.

Answer:	...they stack nicely....I would guess they are perhaps 2-1/2 inches tall for 2 of them?.....a lot thicker than Maxtrax.....but since a pair of them is still cheaper than just one Maxtrax....I don't really mind!...LOL!...
