Step 1: Insert Propane Cylinder

Make sure propane valve is completely off by turning the knob towards the back of the fogger. Then insert propane cylinder and hand tighten.

Note: Make sure the connection is free from dirt and debris before inserting cylinder.

Step 2: Fill Reservoir

Remove the large, black cap and fill with Black Flag, Repel, or Cutter branded Fogging Insecticide. When full, replace cap.

Step 3: Light Fogger

With fogger on a level, non-flammable surface, open fuel valve by turning the knob towards the front of the fogger. Then press the auto-ignite button to light the fogger.

Note: It can be hard to see the flame. Keep your face, hands and clothing away from the mesh burner at all times.

Step 4: Preheat Fogger

It is very important to allow the fogger to Preheat For At Least 2 Minutes before fogging.

If this is not done, the insecticide may not provide the desired results.

For Optimal Results: Squeeze The Trigger Once Every 3-4 Seconds

Keep the breeze at your back, the fogger level and stand 5 feet away from where you are treating. Squeeze the trigger slowly and steadily every 3 to 4 seconds. Each pump will release a cloud of fog. Let it drift into the desired location amongst deep foliage, landscaped areas, or deeply wooded areas where mosquitoes like to hide. After the fog dissipates (typically less than 5 minutes), people and pets can safely enter the treated area.

Note: The effectiveness of the insecticide is dependent on the temperature of the fogger. Every time you are squeezing the trigger, the fogger pump is forcing the insecticide through the heat-conducting coil. The heat instantly vaporizes the insecticide producing the fog. If the fog is thin and yellowish, the insecticide is too hot which means you need to increase the pumping rate to cool down the insecticide. If the fog is wet and/or dripping from the nozzle, the insecticide has not had a chance to reach the optimal temperature; therefore, you will need to decrease the pumping rate.

Answer:	It’s 3HP. I think it’s great for spraying insecticide, I use at a low nozzle setting and about 35%~50% throttle and it covers great. I wouldn’t recommend for leaf blowing. It doesn’t move much air when compared to regular Stihl, Echo, and other backpack blowers.

Answer:	This Backpack Sprayer's reinforced plastic tank does not leak and comes assembled with the engine and backpack straps. Step 1: Lock Trigger

Lock the trigger by sliding the yellow button to the right. This will prevent accidental pumping.

Note: If you can engage the trigger, it is not locked.

Step 2: Fill Reservoir

Place fogger on a level surface. Remove the large yellow reservoir and fill only with Black Flag, Repel, or Cutter branded Fogging Insecticide. When full, securely tighten the reservoir to the fogger.

Note: Ensure fogger pump is free from debris before placing in insecticide.

Step 3: Plug in

Using a proper gauge extension cord, plug the fogger into a convenient outlet.

Note: Use only 3 wire, 10, 12 or 14 gauge extension cords suitable for outdoor usage. Never defeat grounding feature.

Answer:	I can't imagine it wouldn't stick to finished wood. You may want to try in a spot that doesn't show as a test. 4 oz bottle is a lot of super glue.

Answer:	Absolutely. Be sure to sand and clean the metal surface first and wipe with isopropyl alcohol or acetone. This is high viscosity super glue with an activator that slows the cure compared to conventional super glue. How do I know? I formulated this product when it was called Nexabond 2500 before DAP purchased the brand.

Answer:	I haven't tried that combination yet but I dont see why it wouldn't work. I have used the glue on lots of wood, plastic, and glass projects with no problems just not a glass wood combination.

Question:	Can you use insecticide and water effectively in this fogger
Answer:	This is a thermal fogger so it uses heat to vaporize the insecticide liquid and spray it out from the fogger in from of a fog. Although propane foggers are much more common type of thermal foggers, because they give the fogger more portability as you can just stick a propane cylinder in the back of the fogger and carry it around, Black Flag has made one that works with electricity. Do not confuse this with ULV foggers that also works with electricity, because this is a thermal fogger and not an ULV fogger. Parts From the first sight, Black Flag 190107 electric insect fogger does look very similar to propane foggers, especially Burgess 1443 fogger, but instead of a mounting hole for a propane cylinder at the back of the fogger, this device has got an electric cord instead. The fogger uses electricity to heat up the heat barrel assembly. Electric cord needs to be plugged into a regular electric socket, but if you have a larger area to fog, you will need to use an outdoor extension cord. The body of the fogger is made from a plastic material, so the fogger itself is pretty light and you will not have any problems while fogging some larger areas. On top of the body there is a handle as on most thermal foggers. Under the handle you will find a fogging trigger, which when pressed will pump the insecticide from the liquid container trough to the heat barrel assembly where it will get vaporized and will be released trough the nozzle at the end of the heat barrel. There is also a trigger lock button on the handle of the fogger, which can be used to lock the fogging trigger so you do not accidentally press it while operating the fogger. This electric insect fogger also has got an auto ignite button that can be used to light a spark to the heat barrel assembly. The fogger is equipped with a 40 oz (1.18 l) large insecticide container. This is a pretty large container, also when compared with Black Flag propane fogger which has a smaller container. When fully filled with an insecticide, you can fog a decent area until a refill of insecticide liquid will be needed. The container can be simply unscrewed from the body of the fogger, filled up with and insecticide and screwed back on. The container is also made from a plastic material. Fogging The fogging process with Black Flag 190107 insect fogger is similar to propane ones. Just press the fogging trigger once in a few seconds to release a fog. Same as with other thermal foggers you must allow it to heat up for few minutes before starting to fog, so it can produce large and thick fog, which is the most effective to attack a mosquito problem. However, with this mosquito fogger you must wait a bit longer between the fogging trigger presses to let the barrel heat up again after fog has been released. This means waiting approx. 5 seconds or a bit more, which can result in a bit longer fogging session times than with a propane fogger, especially if you need to fog a large area. The fogger is intended to be used outdoors only. It produces a thick, white cone of fog in approx. 10 feet (3 m) size. The odor of the fog depends on the insecticide you use in the fogger. Another thing we can suggest is that you use appropriate extension cord that is made for outdoor usage to plug in this fogger, especially if you are fogging in late afternoons or early mornings when the grass can be a bit wet, which can cause an electric damage to fogger and can harm the person operating the fogger.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it.. The tip gets extremely hot and alcohol is a flammable liquid. Sounds like you might be more interested in something like a one gallon pressure/garden sprayer. You can mix and spray liquids in a fine mist or stream by adjusting the tip of the nozzle. I use these around the home to spray anything from insecticides to herbicide for weeds.. Hope this helps.

To be safe you should keep dogs or children away from the treated area for a few minutes after which it's fine.

It burns very clean. I always use stabilizer after I mix the oil. This is a tough unit. It burns that oily mix very clean.

Step 1: Lock Trigger

Lock the trigger by sliding the yellow button to the right. This will prevent accidental pumping.

Note: If you can engage the trigger, it is not locked.

Step 2: Fill Reservoir

Place fogger on a level surface. Remove the large yellow reservoir and fill only with Black Flag, Repel, or Cutter branded Fogging Insecticide. When full, securely tighten the reservoir to the fogger.

Note: Ensure fogger pump is free from debris before placing in insecticide.

Step 3: Plug in

Using a proper gauge extension cord, plug the fogger into a convenient outlet.

Note: Use only 3 wire, 10, 12 or 14 gauge extension cords suitable for outdoor usage. Never defeat grounding feature.

Step 4: Preheat

With fogger on a level, non-flammable surface, it is very important to preheat the fogger for at least 2 minutes. If this is not done, the insecticide may not provide the desired results.

Squeeze the trigger once every 3-4 seconds for the optimal dry, white fog

Keep the breeze at your back and stand 5 feet away from where you are treating. Squeeze the trigger slowly and steadily every 3 to 4 seconds. Each pump will release a cloud of fog. Let it drift into the desired location amongst deep foliage, landscaped areas, or deeply wooded areas where mosquitoes like to hide.

NOTE: The effectiveness of the insecticide is dependent on the temperature of the fogger - making it very important that you preheat the fogger for 2 minutes. When fogging, every time you are squeezing the trigger, the fogger pump is forcing the insecticide through the heat-conducting coil. The heat instantly vaporizes the insecticide producing the fog. If the fog is thin and yellowish, the insecticide is too hot which means you need to increase the pumping rate to cool down the insecticide. If the fog is dripping from the nozzle, the insecticide has not had a chance to reach the optimal temperature; therefore, you will need to decrease the pumping rate.
