Set up is very easy, just hang the lights as desired, in canopied formations or straight across the space. Attach and set the panel somewhere it will get lots of sun, using either the clamp or stake to position it (both are included). The panel needs about 6 hours of sun for a full charge, and the switch needs to be in the on position while charging, but once fully charged, it will power your strand to shine for at least 6 hours after sundown.

The photocell in the panel will turn the strand on automatically so that there's no additional work necessary after your initial setup.

How to check the solar panel is ON?

• Remove the plastic film covered on the solar panel
• Turn on the lights and set your favorite mode, place the panel in the direct sunlight for 6-8 hours, then it will automatically light up at night
• The panel is light-sensing, please make sure there is no light source such as the street lamp shines on the solar panel when you need the item in working status;
• Working time depends on sunlight. For a sunny day, the battery will be charged fully and the string light will be able to work more than 15 hours at night. If it is a cloudy or rainy day, the battery is not be charged fully, the string light may work only 6-8 hours at night.

User questions & answers

Question:	How long do the batteries suppose to last? Mines only lasting about 3 weeks
Answer:	There is a battery inside that is only good for so many charge cycles. You can open it up (4 screws on the back) and order a replacement battery (they come in multi-packs) Also, check that none of the wires have pulled out of the panel. I have had to fix mine at least 4 times but, only replaced the battery once.

Answer:	Please use the lights according the User Manual as below and try again. 1. Please make sure the solar panel is fully charged under the strong lights at least 8 hours before the first time use. 2. Please make sure if the solar panel is ON status. 3.Please make sure if the environment of the solar panel is dark because the solar panel is with light sensor feature so that it can automatically turn off at dawn and turn up at dusk.
