Answer:	The gloves I received were more of a spandex acrylic blend. Better than nothing in cold weather, but definitely not as warm as wool. When I ordered these, the description said they had a wool lining. Mine did NOT have a wool lining. I contacted the seller and was given a discount for the error in description. The good thing about these is the grips in the palm area that make it easier to grip a steering wheel. The bad thing...not as warm as I had expected.

Answer:	They have since changed the title to remove wool & now the description says acrylic with wool lining. After using them several times, I do believe that this is indeed the case. It isn't a scratchy wool though. Answer:	Not sure about this product since I have not used it. I would use a spray polyurethane and apply it in a number of coats. It made yellow a little bit with time. I make totems with glass and wood and use spray polyurethane often and it holds up well so far outside.

Answer:	Ok, I just read the garb on the can that I bought and it does not say it is safe for childrens toys. I use that as an indication that it is probably not safe to have in skin contact or be used on something that could possibly come in contact with the mouth if the paint was to peel off. A lot of paint cans say - suitable for childrens toys, if I was you I would look for one that states that, then it should be your best option for the helmet. My thoughts only.

Answer:	My experience is with Large vs. X-Large. Distance from finger to palm is 7-1/2" with a measurement of 4" across hand. Largefit, however was skin-tight and required finger by finger removal. When skin was wet or when gloves got wet, removal became a chore. Reordered a size larger which solved problem. Remember, cowhide shrinks after being wet and dried! I measured thedistance across a Large vs. X-Large actual glove and found it to be 4-1/2" vs. 5."(New pair) Sizing problem is created by Mfr.located in Bangladesh. They should provide a comparable Sizing Chart if they want to sell in U.S.A.!

Answer:	These are gloves that are made to be able to use on a cellphone touch screen and are in the "driving Gloves" category, hence they are not super bulky. They do keep your hands warm in cold weather, but I have not used them in a very, very cold weather because it only gets down into the 20s where I live. They are not ski gloves, which would be warmer, as they have a different purpose.

Answer:	The fleece are the warmest. The cashmere are really soft and nice but not for cold weather at all. The wool isn't very good for warmth with these gloves either, but they are slightly better than the cashmere, just not as comfortable and soft.

Answer:	The company is American but the label on the inside displays that they are made in China - no surprises there for me! They are still a good glove, both me and my wife wear them and they become good friends moulding themselves into the shape of your hands. Answer:	It is somewhat of a vague question but I think they will. The interesting thing I experienced when I used these for the first time last night makes me a believer in them. As long as they can be placed in between two surfaces it will create traction.Last night I was out on the ice road (frozen river) here in Bethel, AK. A truck got stuck trying to exit the ice road and go onto shore. The area he used had a thin layer of ice over water and the as soon as he came over the snow pile he got stuck and the front tires were stuck in the water and just spinning. The back tires were barely touching the ground and spinning when he tried to move. He was stuck on the ice patch and almost didn't have back tires down but just barely. I tried to pull him out with my small SUV but it didn't work and then I remembered! The "thingie" that was in the back. I put them under the back tires and as soon as they touched the track just a little the truck bucked back and was out! It sent these skidding forward towards the front tires but they worked well while the truck was on them. These worked pretty impressively in this situation. Before the finished leather reaches us, it is transformed by expert tanners from raw hide to soft and supple full-grain leather. We use drum dyed leather as it retains the natural appearance and characteristics of the leather.In preparation, the skins are moistened and powdered to make them easier to work with. Thereafter, the glove cutter carefully examines the skins in order to determine and plan which parts of the leather to use for each section of the glove.

Cutting the leather

The glove cutter must use the leather as efficiently as possible and minimize the amount of waste while considering the individual properties of each skin. All leather has a natural stretch, so the glove cutter must stretch the leather before cutting.Next, they determine how much stretch should be left in the glove, and in what direction to promise a perfect fitting glove.The cutter’s knowledge and feel for the grain and texture of the leather determine the fit of the glove. The craft can only be learned through painstaking practice under the watchful eye of a master cutter.

Sewing & finishing

Once the leather has been cut, the pieces are sewn together by hand or machine, and the lining is inserted. Next, the gloves are dressed on iron plates, ironed and polished to give them their final shape and finish.The gloves are ironed, checked and attached together and then finally the product is ready to be shipped.These gloves are soft and flexible, and much more durable than lower quality gloves, giving the wearer a sense of appreciation and comfort.

Answer:	I have had these gloves for several years now and just a little wear on the fingers but still keep my hands warm when I am out plowing my driveway with my tractor, But for extended periods of plowing in sub-zero windy weather I have two pair, one I am wearing and the other pair is tucked in the front of my jacket, when my fingers start getting cold, I just switch them out, and put the warm pair on and put the other pair in the jacket to warm up , I can keep going all day that way. I really like them. and I haven't found any one pair of gloves that will keep my hands warm all day in sub-zero weather without a little help.

Answer:	The ones I got are definitely leather. As far as being warm, they are down to about 40 degrees. Below that, they still protect your hands from bitter cold, but at around 30, your hands aren't toasty warm. These are still 5vstar gloves though.
