Answer:	Hello, open the battery compartment on the bottom of dog by screwdriver, then take battery out. The USB cable is the charger, it can work with PC, laptop, phone charger plug and so on.

Answer:	After a few hours using this toy, my daughter asked the same thing! No, I don't think you can - the only option is to use the volume down key on the remote control, to set it at the lowest volume, which is very low, but not completely off. Hope it helps.
