Strands can be plugged in together, male to female end-to-end, but do not exceed more than 1200 watts strung together.

You can exchange bulbs for variety but the bulbs must have equal or lower wattage levels, they cannot be a higher level. The strands have two prong plugs and only work with 110v outlets.

SETTING UP-

Set up is very easy, just hang the lights as desired, in canopy formations or straight across the space.

Please NOTE that the loops at the top of each socket are meant to provide additional support points for set up and should not be used as the sole means for hanging the strand. We recommend using a guide wire as the most supportive hanging method, but you can also secure the main strand using zip ties or properly positioned hooks.

Answer:	My red 40' amazon rope light is plugged in via an Insteon plugin dimmer module, manual or app control - works fine right down to 1%. These LEDS are still on just a tiny bit even when the module is off - something I have not seen before in a number of not-supposed-to-be-dimmable LED strings & ropes. That has got to be the module, not the rope. Usually I see flicker or no light at really low percentage dimming. But not with these ropes . . .they handle any level just fine.

Answer:	This wire is tiny: 20 gauge. The lights are thin too. All in all it's very light weight as it's just a string of A9 Christmas tree lights. Although ordinary desk stapler staples would be good enough, weight-wise, staples are not a really good idea; try to not die or burn anything down (even with that fuse it's a bad idea). Suggestion: run a strand of wall/ceiling colored stout thread or fishing line, and clip the lights to that line. No stress on the wiring and many fewer holes in that wall you just patched and painted.

Answer:	I was going to leave them up all year... and no not Dimmable, but I just unscrewed every other bulb when it's too bright

Answer:	Hopefully, because they are looking for new manufacturers to buy light bulbs from. They are very thin and broke coming out of the package and two more broke trying to hang them.

Answer:	No. Not even close. The bulb does not seal the socket opening, and the wiring cap over the other end of the socket is just pressed on. If hung loosely enough for the bulbs to pull downward, the plastic sockets should shed water pretty well. It's foolish to have such cheap wiring out in the rain where someone could touch it. For that you need to spend some money.

Answer:	I haven’t done the extension which you mentioned but am planning on doing it. I can’t see any reason why it won’t work.
