| Answer: | I never trust the 'equivalent' ratings between LED bulbs and incandescent bulbs. It all seems like marketing nonsense to me. I do know that the real output light of one of these bulbs is limited by how much light it puts out at steady state heat anyway and not necessarily by what the manufacturer says is the upper limit. That is especially a factor for car LED head lamps. And I can say that these LED bulbs appear subjectively brighter than 100 W incandescent bulbs or 100W equivalent LED bulbs to me. But I don't have any way of measuring what they actually output. |

| Answer: | No... plants require certain wavelengths of light, so it is not only the brightness of the lamp that matters. Of course, it also depends on the plant |

| Answer: | I've not noticed any small from these bulbs. Don't worry about the fixture's wattage warning -- these LED 100 watt equivalent bulbs only use about 6 watts of power, much less than the 60 watt warning. If you touch these bulbs when they're on you won't feel any heat. |
