One woman mentions that her package states AWG 16, which is 16 gauge wire, so check your package if you buy it for wire gauge and watts. The watt rating depends on the type of wire, gauge of the wire, and voltage. For example, 12 gauge solid copper wire will usually allows at least 20 amps at 110 volts, so that is 2200 watts. 16 gauge solid copper wire will usually allow at least 10 amps at 110 volts, so that is 1100watts.
