It feels safe to me, and i tried, triplely sure, that i was unloaded, and made every possible move to see if that would happen.

So that when you push the wooden handle into the metal tube you needn't worry about splitting the tube.

The patented SERPA Technology lock engages the trigger guard as you holster the pistol and won't let go until you release it. Answer:	Typically these holsters are made for a specific range of models. Example glock 22 & 17. Try searching for your model. Its a type of 1911? Try searching for a 1911 with a similar slide length.
Question:	I carry a Citadel full size 1911. Will the end of the pistol be covered completely? Or will it hang out at the bottom
Answer:	No it won't; they make this for a full sized 5" 1911, so it will also fit the shorter barreled models, but it covers the entire barrel of a 5" pistol.
