Answer:	From the best I can tell from all the internet research I've done the only difference in the 2 fitbit is the band or strap material. Otherwise they are exactly the same. They give you a fancy band and charge you more. Otherwise the fitbit 4 is identical the the fitbit 4 special edition.
Question:	Does GPS require paying a monthly fee to anyone or is it free
Answer:	Until Fitbit allows GPS phone tethering on the Charge 4 - you are better off with a Charge 3 (or Charge 2). Otherwise you're looking at 1-2 hours battery life while exercising with GPS, missed stats, and constantly recharging this thing (more often than an apple watch). Fitbit could fix this tomorrow by allowing tethering, but they do not, and are censoring the issue on their forums. Don't downgrade!

Answer:	This product has not been released yet. The scheduled release is mid- October. I have the original and the 2 now, both of them permit text message reads with limited characters. You may not see the entire message. Call FitBit to confirm or send them an email, customer service is awesome.
Question:	should these be turned off when driving in a car? I made a 24 mile trip in my car and it showed i walked 1 mile and burnt 2000 calories and 10 stairs
Answer:	When I cut grass wearing my Fitbit registers at least 30 percent more steps because the handle of the lawn mower vibrates. It's more accurate when I put the watch in my pocket. Doing this when you drive won't solve the problem with climbing stairs but I noticed that my heart rate is higher when I'm driving. The basal metabolic rate calculated from your age, weight, height, and gender make up half of this calculation. Your heart rate and steps taken are used to calculate the other half of this number so putting your Fitbit in your pocket will help to lower your calorie burn.
Question:	Does the Charge 3 have a countdown timer in addition to the Stopwatch feature
Answer:	It has a countdown timer, but you have to select from a scrolling list of times in increments of 15 seconds. It goes up to 60 minutes. So if you want to set a 30 minute timer, you have to scroll through until you can select 30 minutes. I just tried it and to get to 30 minutes, it required 16 swipes.

Answer:	Ionic does not have a setting for the watch face to be "always on" The two settings are "on by pressing a button" and "on by turning the wrist". However, if you download the "Nothing Special" watch face from the Fitibit app store, that watch face has a setting for "always on". It drains about 5% battery per hour.

Answer:	If you use strava on ionic is going to be a huge let down. The blaze work very well with strava. The only problem with blaze is that it's wasn't waterproof. If you are under the impression that you are paying more because it would do apps well you will be underwhelmed. It's sucks for music. Only pandora works well. I was happier with blaze. I lost features with ionic.

Question:	How easy is it to change out the band
Answer:	Not very. I'm having trouble reattaching my bands. Some people say it's easy, some say it's not. I have only been able to reattach one band so far.
Question:	If i just want to upgrade a little from my fit bit charge 2, is the versa a better choice than ionic
Answer:	GPS is on the ionic and if you want the GPS feature for the Versa you need your smart phone. For me, it was about size. Being female, my wrists are smaller then most men. It was a reason to give my Ionic to my hubby and get the Versa For myself. The negatives of the Versa, bands are hard to change if you are like me and enjoy that feature. Ionic is a snap to change. GPS you'll need your phone for the Versa. Price is good. I don't need to know if I get a phone call or text. Though these features are there on both. (You cannot text or call with it. ) I did need to get my butt moving more. So keeping track of my steps helps with my medical area. Also I can track my sleep habits on both. Plus swimming with it is a nice feature too. I like both equally as far as features. As for size, Versa works best for me. The Ionic looks great on hubby. Also check you tube. You'll get alot of info from them too.

Answer:	Yes. I don’t use a smart phone. I used my iPad and MAC to sync to. I saved music to the Fitbit Versa through the MAC after downloading apps on iPad and MAC. It was a bit of daunting task. So far, so good. My only regret is not purchasing the one that had gps :/. Which I think I would find useful on trails. I may need a second watch 😎🤭

Question:	If i'm hiking or running outside & have my phone with me- will the "connected gps" only work if i am connected to the app/using the data on my phone
Answer:	The watch has a Exercise section that has running, weight lifting Biking, treadmill, Elliptical. workout. You can tap on the one you want without having the phone with you. I don't even own a phone. I use a table but I just did a walk outside and it detected my 10,000+ steps and recorded the miles. It may be more accurate with the phone. I used windows Tablet and/or Windows10 with GPS and they both sync with when I got back and it said the same amount of steps as on my watch. I think it is pretty close anyway. You can see everything on the watch. That is why I like it a lot. I didn't think I would be able to see anything except heart rate and steps.
Question:	Can you control your music from this fit bit? And does it alert you if your getting a call or text
Answer:	There is a music control option (either swipe down from the top of the main screen, or use the top right button on the edge of the watch casing). I have not used it yet. You get notifications such as texts & calendar alert and phone calls by a buzz on the watch. Texts are displayed as soon as I get them on my phone. Simple swipe from the bottom of the screen up lets you review them. You can then simply swipe right to dismiss them or scroll down through all of them to a "clear all" option.
Question:	What's the battery life
Answer:	"My Blaze is 2 DAYS AT THE MOST" This is my 4th Fitbit watch over the past 4 years and this Blaze is the worst ever on the battery life. Because of this, this will be my last Fitbit. I will be checking out the Apple Watch when this one drops dead from exhaustion. I am 73 and this Fitbit can't keep up with a grumpy-ole-man! I have found that everyday when I shower, I put the Blaze in the charger and that seems to keep the thing from dropping dead on me when least expected!
Question:	Does anyone know what the size of the watch face itself is? Like how the small apple watch is 38mm what is this one
Answer:	I have a 38mm apple watch and the blaze. The screen of the apple watch is the same size as the blaze if you turned the apple watch display sideways. The case of the blaze (it fits into the band) is a bigger overall footprint than the Apple Watch. That said, the Blaze is much more flush with your arm and doesn't stick out and feel bulky like the Apple Watch. Bigger footprint, but lighter and less noticeable when wearing if that helps.

Question:	Is there a way to calibrate the heart beat? it is really inaccurate as measured by my charge 2, polar, kardia , anybody
Answer:	There is a whole thread on the Fitbit Community board with multiple users saying how inaccurate the Sense is when measured by accurate heart monitors like the Polar chest strap and that the Sense is only accurate when you are inactive. So if you are just sedentary you are ok. But I've found that it is not as accurate as even the Charge 2. So idk if it can be synced- I don't think so.
Question:	Does it regiater 02 sats
Answer:	Yes... It measures SP02, but only at night while sleeping. That is when its important; when the heart is at rest. The Sense does measure the resting heart level. During the day, there is a relationship between breath rate and heart rate. The body calls for more 02 so the heart pumps faster for faster passage of blood through the lungs. You can see this relationship at HEART RATE. At the top there is a heavy white graph of the average resting rate. Swipe LEFT and you will get your cardio score. I have breathing issues sleeping and the Sense has helped me greatly.
Question:	If i buy this on amazon will the watch only come with alexa support or will it also have the google assistant support as well
Answer:	At the moment only Alexa is enabled on the watch. Next month there will be an update that enables Google, the ECG and probably SPO2 sensing without a specific watchface. Trust me - Fitbit is about to be owned by Google... Google Assistant will be at least offered on it regardless where you bought it. It's just they need to update the firmware to support it.

Answer:	It does Measure spO2 levels while sleeping. Not real-time.

Question:	How reliable is the Verizon Connected series when you do not have your phone on you? I have not been able to find any reviews on this specific one
Answer:	I don't know about the band size, but the diameter of the cases on most all Expeditions is 40mm....That's too large. It looks like an alarm clock on your arm...I returned the one I bought. Having said that, I would like to have one with a case diameter not exceeding 35mm.

Answer:	I think the band is OK for occasional moisture such as rain, would not wear it the shower or say canoing or kayaking. It has a synthetic suede like backing that absorbs water and takes awhile to dry, especially while worn. I would be OK immersing the watch in water such as swimming ( not diving) but would swap out the exisitng band for a nylon one for those activities. Band looks nice though and is comfortable ( so long as it is not wet)
