Answer:	The package, or shipping size, is the 12x2 you saw.

Answer:	I don't think it would prevent a bowl from being tipped over. The bowl just sits on top of the mat and in fact ....it might make it easier to tip depending on how it sits on one of the ridges. I wouldn't buy it for a bowl tipper!

Answer:	Yes. My 5lb chihuahua loves this puzzle. The pieces are lightweight to open and slide. Her biggest challenge is the white center caps, but only mentally challenging. She has to nudge it up with her nose then pulls it out with her paw. It does take a little while for her to get them so I only use 2 of the white caps. If I want to keep her occupied longer I can use all 4.

Answer:	These are good for small breed dogs using small feeding bowls. Maybe medium dogs, depending on size of bowls, you can look into a larger mat if necessary. *To preface, my dogs eat dry food* My suggestion is that you can use this under a raised bowl holder for food and water. I'm assuming adding water will prevent ants from crawling through it, but with spilt food in the water will then make soggy food leading to another mess to clean. These are good to keep my dogs from moving their bowls, but little messes of water still spills when they drink, with the food a few pieces do get out. Best bet, is to try and figure out a non toxic mix of ant killer, as I know it can be hard to get rid of ants. To see if you can kill them off for a few months then reapply every season or however often you see them. This may not be the best answer, but I dont think these will completely prevent ants from getting to your dog bowls.

🐕DIRECTIONS

Place the pad on the floor, patterned side up. Familiarize the dog to the pad, allowing them to smell and walk on it. If they don’t use it immediately, take them back when they need to go until successful. Reward them with a treat or enthusiastic praise. Repeat a few times until they fully understand.

When soiled, remove by gathering and carrying the 4 corners together to prevent any excess fluid from leaking out the the edges. Replace and wash as needed.

🐾CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Rinse all material from pad before washing. Machine wash with warm or cold water. Tumble Dry low heat or hang dry. Use non-chlorine bleach if necessary. Do not iron or use fabric softeners as these will impede the pads performance.

Do not puncture, place or use any items that can puncture the pad as this will ruin the waterproof layer.

Question:	I have really hard tile floors, and my puppy does flips and hits his head. Is this good for a play mat so that he doesnt hurt himself
Answer:	NO!!! It's not thick enough its a very thin felt like material on the back is a very thin rubber and they are fused togther, he would crack his skull on if he did head flips or possible break bones.... However for general purpose pet mat NO playing they are great!

Answer:	I have mine down on a carpet now and it stays well. I don’t know what it will do for your carpet but it works well on mine. It wears well also.
