Question:	How much do these weigh? I am looking for lightweight socks to sleep in for backpacking
Answer:	Hmmmm....I would not consider these lightweight. They are kind of thick and like fleece but I bet they would be nice for backpacking. They are wonderful for cooler temps if that is what you are looking for. I like the way they are shaped by the stitching into a boot type of shape. Keep in mind that they are on the large size. I bought the small and they am a womans size 8 1/2 and they are very roomy which is better than being too small. Hope this helps.
Question:	The size chart is way different than rhe size chart in the description. What size should I get for women's shoe size
Answer:	I wear a size 10B woman's show, and have found that the large is a little snug for my wide calves, but they fit. My mom wears a size 9 1/2 B shoe with wide calves, and she finds the size large a perfect fit. So I would guess a medium would fit a size 7.5/8 would fit just fine.

Answer:	I chose the 8-9 option for sizing, based on reviews. I’m 91/2 sometimes 10 . They fit perfectly . I stayed away from the small medium large sizing option

Answer:	On the pair that I have the "micro" fleece lines only the foot part, comes up slightly above ankle area. The extension beyond the ankle to around the half calf area is heavy duty knitted material. I wear them quit a bit and they seem to be holding up. At times I wear them over sweat or regular socks. Not necessary to do so, but that's me.

Answer:	best guess would be medium. i wear 7-1/2's in fitted shoes and these smalls are about right for me......so mebbe tight for you.

Answer:	Yes but air dry them , don't use dryer, and wash them with full load. They also can be wiped clean with wet cloth which is better most of the time unless they get really dirty.

Answer:	That's a good question. I wear a size 11 but occasionally have bought an 11.5. Sitting here with them on my toes are at the end so if you can I would buy both pair and send one back.

Answer:	Correct, all the "fleece" on these is a synthetic fleece. The upper edging around the sole is genuine leather/suede, but there is no wool "fleece" lining.

Answer:	I have both light wood and light tile floors and the rubber soles do leave black marks either one of them.

Answer:	Medium is 6.5-7.5 and large is 8-9 I think so XL must be like a size 10. I wear 7.5-8 shoe and the medium fit me.
Question:	Does the insole come out? Would I be able to place a custom orthotic inside
Answer:	No the insole does not come out. Mine is not the shoe pictured here but a shoe with adjustable straps across top. Mine may allow for adjusting height for orthotic but has only a 1/2 inch heel in height so orthotic might not stay in place.

Answer:	I bought the large 8-9 lb. I wear an 8B in my shoes and these fit perfectly. I think the large W stands for "Wide." These are so warm and comfy in the cold winter months. Good luck.
Question:	Can these be machine washed and dried
Answer:	I washed them and the only came out clean. They did not go back to that "brand new" feeling. The chinchilla laid flat. Maybe it is because I wear them all day. I am buying a new pair.
Question:	I normally wear Merrill's with a high toe box. Do these slippers have enough toe height
Answer:	There is not a lot of toe height in the Chinchilla slippers. The Acorn summer weight slippers have a much higher toe box. Answer:	The Acorn company is based in Maine so I believe it is safe to say they are made in the US. I can not verify as mine were returned because of size.
Question:	Are the insoles removable for orthotics
Answer:	No, the insoles aren't removable. However, they are so soft & padded that I don't think you'll need them. I wear them all day when I'm in the house and my feet feel super comfortable.
Question:	The description for the Blue color says Mouse shouldn't that be Moose
Answer:	That must be a "typo". My slippers definitely have a moose embroidered on them!
Question:	If I wear a 6 to 6.5, should I size up? Thanks
Answer:	No, do not need to size up. I wear a size 7 and got the 6.5 to 7.5. They are slightly long but I would go down in size either.

Answer:	I wanted a product that was made in the USA, and thought these slippers were. When I received my slippers today, I was disappointed to read "made in China" on the tags. However, the quality seems good and they are nice and toasty warm.
Question:	Noticed a lot of reviewers said the slippers run big. If you ordered a size down did they stretch out
Answer:	I did not do that. I grabbed an old pair of nike's which were size 7.5. Then I ordered the 6.5 to 7.5 size. They fit perfectly, no stretching needed.

Answer:	I don't know if they are designed to be that way, but I can speak of my experience. I tend to have very sweaty feet. They especially sweat in synthetics. The boiled wool slippers seem to absorb the moisture and keep my feet drier and cozier/warm, but breathe enough that they don't overheat. I bought these to replace some boiled wool slippers I bought in the 1980s! I am in love with these!!!

Question:	Anyone have the Weight of a pair of xl’s? Thanks
Answer:	In terms of units of measurement weight my best guess would be a little more than the weight of a normal pair of socks. About the weight of a good pair of hiking heavy weight wool socks. If you mean in terms of 200 or 400 polar fleece I would say closer to 200. I hope that helps. But I do like my pair.
Question:	is it possible to get out a ruler and measure the footbed and list the inches next to the sizes and put a chart of it in the product images
Answer:	The sizing is designed to fit over multiple sizes. In the size chart image, the allowed sole length for each size is mentioned. So if your shoe size meets the required length of the particular size, then it's your size. As you can see via the feedback, the sizing is true to the chart. Answer:	Hello. You should wash them in the warm water at 104f, machine wash is allowed. Ironing, bleaching, dry clean and tumble dry is deeply prohibited. Answer:	I believe in Estonia or Latvia or Ukraine...some country in that part of the world.
Question:	L or xl for a 11.5 shoe? also is the small good for a 7yr old size 13 kid
Answer:	XL is truly extra large. I wear a 11.5 and the large is perfect. Can't comment on the kid's size 13. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It depends on multiple factors such as your socks, boots, and how you handle the cold. With the demi-season boots and socks, our liners will keep your feet warm down to -10 degrees celsius. If you use them with cold-weather boots, you can wear them at the lower temperatures. They are designed to be worn with socks, and as standalone socks, they will keep your feet comfortable in decent demi-season boots down to 0 Celcius.
