Answer:	A scanned document is typically in PDF format from the start. No need to save, re-save or export it. Saving that scanned document as a JPEG is the very definition of exporting. I'm not sure what you are asking. Please clarify.

Answer:	I have never tried that but I do know when I scan to PDF, I can edit the size of the scan. To create something smaller, I can scan to a percent reduction in the scan than adjust by cropping prior to the pdf conversion. But I have not attempted resizing one it is in the PDF format. Now I will have to seriously look at some of the capabilities. I use mine more for research on words and phrases in the context of research paper evaluation.
