Answer:	I don't think you should ever flush clay-based litter, clumping or not. It is heavy and sinks to the bottom of traps, etc., instead of dissolving and flushing through. You're supposed to be able to flush some corn, pea, "tofu", wood and paper pellet type litters, but, based on my experience, even with non-clay types, I'd only flush a very small amount at a time, like, say the amount that clings to feces, rather than large urine clumps.

Answer:	I use 3/4 of an 18 lb. bag. Sammy uses a jumbo litter box with higher sides. His litter doesn't start sticking until it's time for me to clean it. That's 8-10 days. I always scoop after he goes and I think that's a good thing to do. He just yowls if he has to step into a dirty toilet. Think of it this way, when a cat goes pee much of what's left behind after you scoop it is soiled enough that eventually urine just sink to the bottom and there's not enough clean, or unsoiled litter and can't fully absorb the urine, so it sinks and sits there glueing itself to the bottom. I use a metal scooper (Amazon.com) it's strong enough to scrape the bottom when scooping. Remember to scoop often but after about 15-30.

Answer:	Nope, crystal litter isn't better. It irritates lungs, needs frequent steering and get saturated and starts to smell in 2 days. Yes, I did try this brand of crystals. It's no different from others.

Answer:	I think I buy the 40 lb. bag and have plenty left over. I have the jumbo disposable boxes. I have one cat. I fill the jumbo box 80% to the top and over time it decreases b/c of use. This litter is so absorbent, that I can just add more litter to return it to 80% once it gets too low. No odors, no urine gets to the bottom b/c the litter absorbs it so well and quickly. Best litter I ever bought.

I poured just a bit in our cat's box, and his feet and face smell like perfume for hours after going in there. HORRIBLE--that cannot be good for him! Answer:	WOW! This product does a far superior job to previous cat litters we've tried from Fresh Step. Also, being unscented, it does NOT carry a perfumy odor throughout the house either. We have three cats, and scoop the litter daily. Don't have a problem with clumping at all, but it still has some dust to it (though far less than Fresh Step or other litters we've tried) Our cats had no problem adjusting to this litter either.

Answer:	Tracking was a huge problem for me from way back. My solution was to get one of the biggest hard plastic (very durable) boxes they had at PerSmart. This one's brand name is "Pet Champion". It's about three feet long; 18 inches wide; and about 10 inches deep. What I do is then place the actual litter box (which has high sides) inside this big box which catches whatever litter they track out of it, since they have to step into this big box before getting on the carpet. Occasionally, I have to empty the big box into the smaller, not a big deal. It's worked great for years; never wears out. This big litter box even has a place to hold the scooper at the end of the box so it's always handy without touching the carpet. Hope this helps! :)I actually found the exact same box (and dimensions) here on Amazon just now; it's Petmate 22040 Giant Litter Pan. Mine was a different brand name and it was a gunmetal color, but the design and dimensions are identical to mine.

Answer:	Yes it does. I have tried 5-6 litter brands in my Robot. This one was was my 2nd best choice. I have to admit that the one from Litter Robot has worked best for me. It is slightly heavier so it slides into the filtered bin faster when it cycles, keeping more litter available once it finishes the cycle. This one works but has a lower finished volume post cycle... if you cat is large (long, not fat) like mine and pees right on the edge of the litter because he barely fits in the globe or if he pees a lot even toward the center, the extra volume keeps it from sticking to the liner as much.

Answer:	I've been using the Fresh Step "Simply Unscented" cat litter ever since my cats were 8 weels old They are now both 11 and a half and have used it all these years and will use it for hopefully another 11 and a half years. BUT like you I wondered ULTRAUNSCENTED which to me sounded like it was even more unscented then the "Simply Unscented" I've been using but how could that even be seeing as the Simply Unscented really has not smell to it at all. So I bought a box of the Ultra Unscented and I was totally disappointed and curious about why it was that this product actually smelled perfumie. So I never used it again and have and will stick to the Simply unscented. I don't know if I would get into trouble if I come out and say anything about the pricing of this product on here but the amount (pounds per box) and the price of it is not a good deal on here !!!

Answer:	When I pour this out I do smell something I have used this the "ultra unscented" and the simply unscented and I smell less of whatever smells are in this litter than the "ultra" you would think this would be reverse but is not. I have used this litter for my two cats now for over 11 years and I have always used the unscented and have never had any problems whats so ever PLUS over the past few years they (fresh step) actually has make this a "low dust" litter compared to what it was like before and I know personally they have made there litter low dust because before they did after dumping the litter in the cat box the hairs in my nose would be white with the dust I was breathing in and since they changed it to low dust that doesn't happen any more

Answer:	It is definitely clumping. In fact, it makes very hard clumps that do not easily break apart when you remove them. This is the best litter I've ever used.

Answer:	I wonder the same thing. I use the Simply Unscented and it is not lightweight at all. The clay granules are the same size as other litters I've used. One difference I notice is that the Simply Unscented comes in a 25 lb. box, while the Ultra Unscented comes in a 20 lb. box, but that doesn't really help to figure out the differences in the formula. Also, the Simply Unscented does have a light scent. I'm not sure what it is - or how Fresh Step can claim it's unscented - but it's definitely different from the plain, cheap, non-clumping clay litters, which have no scent at all and don't smell like the Fresh Step does. Something to keep in mind if anyone in the family has allergies or asthma.

Answer:	its a clumpable litter - not pellets - more like sand - to me it is the best litter out there.

Answer:	So far, it's the least one that tracks litter. I usually put a thin, cheaper type carpet/rug down inn front, just in case. It's easy to lift and shake. It's not granule, like most litters. It's more like sand, so it doesn't really track, it clumps amazing, no smell. I won't go back to any other litter! Plus, the cats really like it.

Answer:	Honestly, I don't know. I will tell you that with having 6 cats, I've tried every litter out there! This has more of a sand quality, which cats like more. There's virtually no tracking. It clumps the best. As a matter of fact, if you skip days, they'll barely be able to use it because the top is a big clump! Big for me, very low dust. Best litter ever. (As for ingredients, maybe Google? This is definitely what cats like and is safe. )

Answer:	I think yes. If he is tiny, I would watch the amount put in litter box. I've used it for years with all my cats and it works well.
