Answer:	There's usually one clamp per unit unless otherwise stated. Included is a fixed end piece with the turning handle and the other end which moves up and down the length of the pipe. Remember, the pipe is not included. Go to Home Depot, Lowes, or another hardware store to have the pipe cut and threaded. The last ones I bought were for a specific project and I bought pipes that were 5' long.

Answer:	The unit appears to be two switches. When I hooked mine up "dead short" surprised I didn't blow the breaker - must be slow blow. When I changed the wires it worked. Anyways, I suggest you take an ohm meter to the unit and map out what wires are open or closed when each button is pressed - essentially reverse engineering the internal switch configuration. I'd pay attention to dead short scenarios.

Answer:	It has industry standard wiring. It worked on my Badlands 12,000 lb winch, but I did change the wiring ends to spade connectors, and also left my original cord still operational with spade unions. I have only used the winch a couple times since, but it works great.

Answer:	He would have to check with the trail tamer winch manufacturer. When we bought our remote, it was made for the winch we had on the gator. You would have to make sure the plug ins match. His plug would have to accept a 3 prong plug in a triangle configuration. We can send him a picture of our receptical if that would help. We would need a text number or email address. Thanks. Answer:	is it a male or female end on the dash? if it is the female end on the dash it could be the right one, they have both styles of remotes.

Answer:	I didn’t have much luck with this remote. The first one I received melted and almost caught fire. The second one would only let the winch out. I would recommend the remote that tractor supply sells. You will have to wire it up but it is a good remote and worth the trouble. Good luck.
