Answer:	If it ran off a usb connection maybe but I wouldn’t risk it even it it could.
Question:	The fan does not come on when I plug it in. Is this normal
Answer:	Out of the box it was 3/4's charged. It went to full charge in less than an hour.
Question:	What is the input amps the charger uses? - not output
Answer:	I left mine in a boat in the hot and cold for at least 3 months and it still had 75% charge. It hadn't been used for a long time before it was placed there. Recommend charging it at least once a month just to be safe.

Answer:	I don't know where the 2 other comments came up with one amp output. Minimum is 5.1 amps with mttp controller. Still insufficient to fully charge deep cycle flooded battery with much load.

Answer:	No, there are not really any directions but it’s pretty simple to use. Yes, peel off the protective plastic layer. I know it looks like it is attached underneath the fabric but it comes pretty easily.
Question:	how long will it take with good sunlight to recharge a dead 12v automotive battery
Answer:	The right answer is: It won't. 5W is the absolute best these cheap panels will output, in reality you will only get about 1W during daylight hours, mostly due to thermal derating. The charge will be so minimal, that battery leakage at night will eliminate any small charge you get during the day.

Answer:	I don't believe this panel has a blocking diode built in as CX wrote in 2018. Can seller confirm whether there is a blocking diode built into the panel? Thanks

Answer:	The main cable is about 8 ft from memory. The other cables attach to the main cable and are about 12” long.

Question:	Will this work inside the windshield? The windshield blocks ultraviolet rays, so if I put it on the dashboard, will it still provide electricity
Answer:	It can be installed with suction cups inside the windshield, and there is indicator lights on the back to indicate that it is absorbing solar energy. I don't have a voltmeter to actually test it, but I assume it is collecting solar energy.

Question:	Does this solar charger connect directly to my car battery, or do I need a controller
Answer:	You do not need an additional controller. Our solar charger is a trickle charger to maintain battery power. The current is relatively small, and the built-in isolation diode will not damage the battery.
Question:	what kind of ports does this have? Can I use this with my phone as well
Answer:	This product puts out 12 volts and has two conductor SAE connectors. It has no 5 volt USB ports and could not be used to charge a cellular phone.
Question:	Will this solar charger charge marine batteries
Answer:	Yes, it works well! I use a solar charger to charge the battery and keep it maintained with this. Works awesome!
Question:	Can I leave in 12 v socket when driving & alternator charging
Answer:	We do not recommend this. This connection is OK once or twice occasionally, but it will damage the solar panel for a long time.
