Answer:	With the water off, take the nozzle off of the top of the head. If there is a screen in below the nozzle, you may be lucky and the screw will be sitting in the screen. Just re-attach it to the underside of the nozzle. If you cannot find the screw, you will need to replace the nozzle.

Answer:	No, these are the standard non-pressure regulating heads.
Question:	Can I make this go only 6', with 90 degree angle or with 180 degree angle
Answer:	You can reduce the flow and pressure with the set pin on top, but it would be tough to get down to 6 feet on most irrigation systems (assuming good flow and pressure 40 to 80 psi). The head can be adjusted to any angle from 0 to 360 degrees and in any direction. You would be better off to get the 1804's without the 15van nozzles and order 8van or 6van nozzles to go on them separately.
Question:	Which tee "connector" should I buy to install this one
Answer:	It's hard to know which tee you need without knowing pipe and pipe size, but the 1804 heads have a 1/2" Female insert pipe thread if that helps.

Answer:	Sprinkler heads are adjustable which allows for approx. 25’ to 35’ diameter range (depending on water pressure). I positioned two sprinklers in series to expand the range without relocation of sprinklers while they are on or turning off. Furthermore, I would recommend adding a sprinkler timer and setting to the desired times.

Question:	what is the hight of 42sa unit
Answer:	The height of a 42sa is exactly 7-3/8" from top to bottom. It is a little under 3" in diameter and has female 3/4NP threads. Most user friendly adjustments i have seen. Holding the body in one hand, rotate the top to full right rotation. Then rotate top to full left position. This is your left edge. Thread the unit onto the riser leaving the direction arrow on top pointed down your left edge. After water is flowing just adjust the =/- knob on top to move thee right edge to your liking. There is also a diffusing screw above the nozzle to change the spray pattern.
Question:	I have 5000 series rotor, can i replace it with this one 42sa? thanks
Answer:	I am not completely sure, but I just swap out one head for another as long as the threads match up. The appearance may be different from you old head, but they seem to function the same on my 20 year old system. Hope this helps.
Question:	Must I purchase valves with flow control, or can these sprinklers be adjusted down directly
Answer:	The radius can be diffused down, but it will not change the amount of water used. You can install smaller nozzles that will reduce flow, but it will also reduce the distance. It's always good to use valves with flow control just in case you ever need it, it's only a slight price increase and worth it. Thank you

Answer:	Hello,These are the 42SA+ which is the same as the 5004PC that do NOT have the water shut off at the top of the head (black tops). Is not the same as the 5004PC Plus that DOES have the shut off (green tops).The 42SA+ is the retail name when found in stores like Home Depot and 5004PC is the commercial name you will see at irrigation supply houses. Sometimes the big box stores will have the label on the head as a 42SA+ and the stamp on the top of the head will say 5004.Thank you

Answer:	It is adjustable from 360 to 0
Question:	Why does my inlet measure 1" wide with a tape measure
Answer:	Pipe sizes do refer to physical dimensions, but the plumbing industry standard for the sizes of pipe is not always as straight-forward as measuring the pipe. The "pipe thread size" is measured and based on the inside of the pipe. But, to actually determine the size of a pipe, the outside diameter of each pipe or fitting must be measured and compared to a PVC thread table for size identification. In this example, a 3/4" NPT pipe thread has an outside diameter of 1.050 inches.
Question:	What is the spray distance? I have already tried the Rain Bird CP5004PC which is advertised as 26' - 38'. That is too far for my yard
Answer:	The actual distance depends on 3 factors: The pressure of your water system, the Nozzle you install on the Rain Bird, and the adjustment you make on the rainbird itself. The Pressure you cannot change. It is what it is. Normally you do not change the nozzles very often either. So with a particular nozzle, you set the Rainbird on maximum and see how far that goes. If it is too far, you just adjust the flow on the Rainbird and shorten it to whatever degree you want. (Less than 10 feet is sort of a waste and there are other rainbirds for that). So you will have no difficulty shortening the distance. People who have a problem usually cannot get a long enough spray because of the low pressure. You will have no problem.

Answer:	These are sprinkler heads that are designed to be screwed onto the threaded plastic pipes in underground sprinkler systems... They are not meant to be used as a "stand alone lawn sprinkler"... As to whether the pipe thread in the sprinkler head is compatible with a hose end, I doubt it... The form and pitch of the female pipe thread is completely different from a male hose end thread...
Question:	what is the sprinkler dimension
Answer:	About 8” tall and another 5” or so when the sprinkler pops up.
Question:	I lost the set screw for the adjustment nozzle any suggestions to where i can find a new set screw
Answer:	I would suggest finding an old Orbit Voyager pop-up - I always buy a couple to replace when the internal gears fail. Since this is the only feature which fails (the gears) It pays to keep a old spare for other parts which might need to be replaced such as when you hit the case with the lawnmower, or other things like losing the set-screw.

Answer:	Ultimately depends on water pressure, but in my installation, the answer is yes, it is less than 15 feet in both diameter and radius. If you mean 15 degrees, yes it does that too, it can go even narrower to probably 1-2 degrees.
