Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by mush, but the point doesn't mash down like a felt tip pen, and it doesn't constantly accumulate a glob of ink like some cheaper ballpoint pens do. It's very good for ball point pen illustration.

Answer:	these pens have a medium point. I have these ones in medium point but I use the black ones in fine point. I think the medium point pens seem to write more smoothly, but I have really small handwriting so I like to have the black ones in fine point for taking notes. These are a very comfortable pen to use, and I think they last a long time. I write at least 70 pages front and back before the pen runs out.

Question:	Is the pressure that is required to use this pen the same as the regular Zebra Sarasa 1.0mm? I had a hand injury and need to apply little pressure
Answer:	Not familiar with the Sarasa 1.0mm. The Z-grip pens require a normal amount of pressure. I do a lot of writing and the pressure doesn't bother me, but I've not had a hand injury so I can't speak to that. To go with less pressure I'd think you need a gel based pen like the pilot G-2 pen. I love the G-2's as well but it's a lot thicker line, which may not always be convenient.
Question:	What color is the barrel? Is it tinted black or is it clear and completely transparent
Answer:	We recently transitioned the ZEBRA Z-Grip Retractable Ballpoint pen from a clear barrel with oil based ink, to a translucent tinted barrel with low viscosity ink. We cannot guarantee that all of our customers inventory has transitioned.

Answer:	Not if you wait a few seconds to let the ink dry. If you highlight immediately after writing, there may be some smearing.

Answer:	Do not try to paint watercolor OVER this pen. I will attach a photo to my review, so it should show up in the photos. I love these pens, but they do not go under paint, not even dry brush watercolor after letting the ink dry.

Answer:	I am a lefty and cannot use G2 pens. Not only do they smudge a lot, but at the angle I write, the roller ball gets stuck in the ball point and doesn't write with smooth lines. Sometimes no ink comes out then a big blob of ink.

Question:	Do the pens bleed through the paper
Answer:	That depends on the paper you are using. Napkins or other similar tissue will certainly bleed though, but a 20-pound bond (the paper commonly used in inkjet printers) will not. They don't bleed though photographic paper, either. I've been using Flair pens for 40 years, and the biggest bleed problem I've had is the bleeding that happens in a shirt pocket if the cap come off. Never put them away without the cap.
Question:	Can this pen be used for school to write
Answer:	This pen reminds me if a fine tip permanent marker, not sure if it would last as long as a ball point pen for daily school writing..

Answer:	I have used them in my Erin Condren planner and it really depends on how hard you write with your pen. More often than not, they don't bleed.
