Answer:	In response to your question, I took a heavy cardboard box that had been used to ship produce and tried to cut it. I cut the cardboard into several pieces and it cut smoothly but with a slight resistance (a little more force than with plain paper). Accordingly, within the dimensions of the cutting board and guard, you should have no problems.

Answer:	Not more then one sheet of card stock. I woke at a restaurant and it’s not capable of cutting more then one piece of 65lb cardstock for our menus without causing fraying of the edge. Not very professional.

Answer:	While I haven't tried it, I have absolutely no doubt that the answer is No. This is a very, very basic paper cutter with an extremely small blade. I'm not sure it can even cut through multiple pieces of paper at one time, let alone fabric.

Answer:	Horrible. It cuts uneven, barely thru one piece of paper. Save yourself the aggravation, spend a bit extra on the smallest fisker and you’ll be much happier. It’s also extremely flimsy. I could break it in half with my hands the plastic is cheap. Wasn’t even worth the shipping of returning. Has been sitting in the box stored somewhere. I ruined so many projects I finally got the fiskar brand and couldn’t have been happier.

Answer:	I use mine for cutting 12 x12 papers. The table width is 12.25 with 12 inch markings. With the cutter it is 13 1/8 inches wide Vertical it is a 13 inch board surface and with the cutter is 19 inches. I hope this helps you. BTW I love mine. It is well made, sturdy and cuts beautifully

Question:	How far up does the handle lift
Answer:	As far up as needed for your paper you want to cut is flush on the top side, so technica, it lifts up almost straight up.
Question:	How do you sharpen the blade
Answer:	It's a self sharpening blade. Each time you use the blade, keep it against the metal edge of the bed. That hones the blade. The trickiest part is keeping the nearest end of the blade against the metal strip. I use 15 sheets of computer paper as a reference and the blade will cut through most things. It is made for paper and the sharpness of mine is great after 4 years of papercutting.
Question:	How well does this cut card stock
Answer:	This is a beautiful paper cutter. I use it in my classroom on paper, card stock, and laminated items. I have owned it for 3 years and still cuts smooth. As with any paper cutter, you are limited on the number of pieces it will handle at once. I prefer using over the one in the teachers work room that has gotten dull.
Question:	I just got this and was unhappy to find that the solid lines were metric indicators. Is this a problem for anyone out there used to inches
Answer:	I thought that it was a problem until I realized that the dotted lines are in inches. And they aren't in the usual 1/4 inch intervals... they are actually 1/8" measurements and that is better than any other cutter that I have had. I have vision problems and I can read the dots easily. Give the dots a chance and I think you'll like it.

Operating steps:

1. Open the clear bar, insert paper and place it under the clear bar, close the clear bar;
2. Make sure the paper is fixed by your fingers and the clear bar;
3. Pressing down the orange slider block and sliding it up and down along the clear bar;
4. Remove paper from trimmer by raising the clear bar;

Blade change method:

1. Sliding blade carriage to the center of the clear bar;
2. The blade can be removed and replaced by pulling the clear bars apart gently.
