Answer: No it doesn't. But you can have them installed at a music store. About $10-15 for two strap buttons. Or you can shop Amazon for strapping your uke button-free. One end hooks up to the sound hole, other end around you. Btw, OS OU28T is sooo cool for strumming. Best buy for the buck! Good luck!

Answer: Yes i would say that the finish is high gloss. Also, at least for the one we received, the finish is much darker than the pictures shows. Still attractive and very nice, but a much darker color.

Answer: I just looked and I would say semi-gloss. It has a shine to it, but I have to admit I do polish all my guitars. Hope that helps. Oh, btw, it plays and sounds wonderful, so for me, the finish isn't really an issue. The sound is.

Question: When will the ukulele start holding it's tune
Answer: mine started holding tune between 5 to 7 days. Do you know what kind of strings where on it when your received it? Depending on who you purchases it from --some suppliers put on the cheapest strings out there. At times buying a new set of Aquila nylgut strings will be worth the investment (in keeping your sanity). It takes some time to tighten the knots at the bridge and the twists around the tuning pins...but once those get tight you should be seeing some consistency. cheaper nylon strings just keep stretching. Does is look like your tuners aren't holding? Do you ever see or feel them unwind right after you tuned? I would be suspicious of strings first, tuners next.
