Answer:	I’ve had a person over 300 seated with no problem, and two larger adults. Very sturdy
Question:	Is the lid heavy (and fast-closing) enough to pinch/injure little fingers
Answer:	The hinge is very tight, and ours does not open to the full extent that hinge's metal contruction allows for. Ours opens to a bit more than 45 degrees. This lid/seat is considerably heavy, which is a good thing (ie, good quality) BUT when the opened lid starts to go down, you MUST hold firmly to it, or it can escape your grip and slam down forcefully - enough that I am confident it would injure a finger or hand part. We have to hold onto the lid while reaching inside the compartment because it will not always stay open on its own. Maybe if it opend the full extent that the hinge provides, but I cannot get it to open that wide.
Question:	Is the finish matte or shiny
Answer:	All of the surfaces (legs and cross pieces and around the padded top) are very shiny/glossy.
Question:	How comfortable is this seat? Other suggestions for lumbar support in a piano seat
Answer:	I find this seat very comfortable. I don't know how you can get lumbar support in a piano seat. I can only suggest wearing a back brace belt like a copper fit belt.

Question:	Does this have much padding
Answer:	I do not know. It's a sturdy/strong stand..but unfortunately it's higher than Standard Piano height..which is a pain because I don't stand to play...I use a piano bench. (The lowest setting on it is about 3 to 4 inches higher than standard piano height) I had to end up buying a taller/adjustable stool.
Question:	How will it arrive in the package? Can the bag be folded in half
Answer:	My stand came with the screws inserted into the tubes. You have to take them out to attach the tubes. If yours are not there, I respectfully suggest you take a tube with you to the hardware store. They have a very fine thread. Don't take the chance of getting the wrong size. You will mess up the threads in the tubes if you have to force the screws.

Answer:	Yes. I bought two of these and they are compatible with the vr09 and several other roland boards. However I will say that one of the two already stopped working after about a month. Answer:	I think it's about 23 inches off the ground at the lowest setting. There's a screw in the middle. It rotates around the plastic circle. You can loosen it or tighten it to change positions.
