NOTE 1: The item is just for collecting sound, you will still need another device to make it work. Such as speaker, PA, laptop or smartphone

NOTE 2: Smartphones/laptop can't output the sound when you use the mic to record or live stream.

NOTE 3: For iPhone, please use the original lightning to 3.5mm adapter or order it from the Apple Store.

NOTE 4: For laptop and PC, you need use the USB sound card in the package. Please refer to the manual for detailed steps.

NOTE 5: For the better sound, the power of speaker or PA system that you use should be above 100W. Cannot be less than 15w.

The speaker you use must have at least one 3.5mm/6.35mm audio input socket.





How to Record on Smartphones



1. Audio Recording

Use the built-in Recorder app or other recorder app to record audio by the splitter.



2. Video Recording

For Android Phone -- You can download the Open Camera app from play market. This app support external microphone by using the splitter.

Setting Steps: Open the Open Camera app -- click Settings on the upper right corner -- Video Settings -- Audio Source -- External Mic (If Present)

For IPhones -- Just use the camera that built-in the phone, it can support external microphone.

When the recording finish, you can use headphone to listen the audio that keep the splitter pulg in.

Or unplug the splitter and use the phone's speaker to play audio.

Answer:	When the transmitter and receiver flash red, that means it will be running out.

Answer:	i don't believe so, its only compatible with what it comes with.
Question:	For people that use this for fitness instruction, do you need to use the windscreen? I will be teaching Jazzercise but do not want to use a windscreen
Answer:	If you sweat gets in the microphone it will damage the unit. I went through a half dozen of these before I came up with an answer to the problem. The windscreen is the first line of defense working as a sweatband. Not to mention heavy breathing.
Question:	Can this be connected to any speaker with a 3.5mm or 6.35mm socket
Answer:	The microphone is not suitable for devices with less than 15W power (such as bluetooth speaker).

Question:	can it be used with a digital recorder? I'm a writer who likes to dictate while doing housework
Answer:	Do you mean a single channel wireless system? The BLX14/CVL? In either case, yes, you will be able to run both systems simultaneously. Each frequency band of the BLX can run numerous transmitters at the same time without interfering with each other. If you also happen to have the BLX14/CVL, you can also purchase the BLX288/PG58 in the same frequency band so that you can have back up transmitters/receivers in case any of them fail.
Question:	Will this microphone strap become my burden
Answer:	If I remember correctly, the frequencies of both channels can be selected, but it's mostly unnecessary.
Question:	What is the pouch dimension
Answer:	Please press and hold the unlock button for 2 seconds, and the internal function of the machine can be used when the lock pattern of the TFT screen is turned on.

Answer:	You can use the amp WITH a loop pedal. The amp itself does not have a pedal.
Question:	Each channel has its separate volume control. Do the bass/mid/treble and equalizer controls effect both channels or just channel
Answer:	The bass, mid, treble, and chorus are only for channel 2, channel 1 is like a dedicated microphone input, no effects, with a mic cable input. The concept, I think, for this amp, was for the singer/songwriter, to have their sound amplified at home, or in a smaller venue. For a small amp, it sounds pretty decent, and sometimes I just use the mic input lightly amplified, with an un-amplified acoustic guitar. You could also run a mic with a 1/4 guitar type plug into channel 2, gets some (mic) effects, with an um-amplified guitar. I have not actually done that, but don't see why one couldn't do so. Musicians love different musical effects, right???

Question:	Will it work with a roland td1kv v-drum compact electronic drum kit
Answer:	Yes... But for a Drum Set... The ideal situation is to use it with a Subwoofer like the PowerWerks PW112S 200 Watt Subwoofer. It has a Subwoofer Out and automaticallly filters out the low end and sends those signals to the Subwoofer when one is plugged in. I have a Roland TD25K. It sounds great in my living room all by itself but I would want to use a Subwoofer if I played in a club to get the extra thump from the bass. The Subwoofer is overkill at home.

It will play loud but small speakers can not reproduce the lower tones with accuracy. You would be better served with a full range keyboard amp. I would not recommend anything less than a 12" woofer with a horn or tweeter.Hope this helped. Might find one in a pawn shop. Question:	how many decibels can the L1 put out
Answer:	One thing about decibel level output is that it is directly proportionate to the signal level that your putting in. The amplification factor remains the same but the out dbs will be that factor times the input signal. Even 200 watts, 106db that all depends upon how you are using it, what are feeding with. Using the line input you can hit the thing with a lot more millivolts than your acoustic or Mic are going put out so that skews the data. I hit mine with a Yamaha 16 ch mixer going through a dual 31 band EQ first - some of those frequencies are going to be more or less Db based upon the settings - this unit will fill a standard sized 50+ person bar easily. At 100, it might work well for voice but you might need a big brother L1 to help out.
Question:	Can I run a mixer into the Mic jack
Answer:	No, not the mic jack, but the line in jack serves that purpose. I use a Yamaha MX-16U board and run our whole four piece band through the board, then most importantly - a TRS stereo 1/4" cable with a XLR plug on the other end connected to the board's output. If you use a regular mono/guitar 1/4" cable you will lose over 6db (over half) the volume out of the unit. So, to use the Yamaha put the TRS input signal into the line in 1/4" jack and turn off the built in tone match switch. Because of this, you don't want to mix a board and still try to use the tone match guitar/mic, which you shouldn't/wouldn't be doing anyway. As far as how it sounds, I actually use this as our second tower to supplement an older L1 full series tower to help fill rooms at odd angles and such and to ensure the whole audience gets powerful sound. Using this method we parked the Peavey 18's and McCauley 15"s/horns in the garage for outdoor gigs.

Answer:	Well, my guess would be that your guitar cable is a tr, and the splitter is a trs.. easy way to find out is reverse the cables on the Pyle inputs, see if the other side works, and the original working side does not.. you need to use a splitter that genuinely touches the mono tip and ground, feeding both sides of the splitter

Answer:	Watts doesn't really tell you how loud it is and is almost a worthless spec without the other specs to go along with it. What you want is SPL which is what you really hear/feel and the Bose states the S1 Maximum SPL @ 1m is 103 dB (109 dB Peak). In comparison, a decent mobile DJ PA is around 132 SPL, at least mine are :) Still though that doesn't cover quality of sound but since it's Bose you already know that the quality is decent.

A more expensive option would be the Phil jones briefcase, which doesn't come with a battery, but you can buy and install one to it. Short answer, yes if you are careful, if you have the money look into the Phil Jones Briefcase
