| Answer: | As several people have stated, it dosn't come with a cord. You must buy a separate outdoor extension cord long enogh for your use. One person stated he used a 100 ft 10 amp cord. I hope he ment a 10 gage cord. I wouldn't recomend running a 13 amp motor on a cord rated for 10 amps. I use a 100 ft 14 gage cord. 14 gage wire is rated for 15 amps, 12 gage for 20 amps and 10 gage for 30 amps. I find the mower runs on the 14 gage without heating the wire at all. If the wire gets hot, you are using to small of a wire. Go to a smaller gage number to carry more amps. |

Otherwise you can take an 8 inch piece of pvc that is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter and slide your glove over it. then just prop your pvc on the heat vent and let your furnace dry it. you can also throw it in the dryer with a dry towel and run it on low heat. You can find a rack made for drying gloves that isn't electric. it is just a wire rack that you put your gloves down over the vertical wires and place the rack on the heat vent. You can find the racks that are not electric for around $10.00. All these ways have worked for me in the past and still do. I hope this helps. |

I have a quarter acre and the battery does not last to do the front and back yard in one shot. But I have been mowing the front yard, plugging in the battery and then weed whacking the front. I then put the battery back in and can do the back yard without interruption. I would say the battery gives you about 45 minutes to an hour if the grass is not very high. The battery will go faster if the mower has to do more work on higher grass. |
