Answer:	The legs and frame are metal (aluminum?). The tips on the legs are rubber and the seat and back made of hard plastic.It is very sturdy. I bought it for my 90 year old mother and she really likes it.

Answer:	The important measurement is the clearance, not the leg length. There are cross tubes under the seat so the highest clearance after all the legs are extended to their full length is 19 1/2 inch. Unfortunately my tub wall height is 22 1/4 inch. The transfer bench is too large & bulky to send back in light of the fact that I'll only need it for 2 - 4 weeks after my back surgery. I'm just going to put a 2x6 under the exterior legs (2x4s are too narrow for safety).

Answer:	Those are the package dimensions. Assembled dimensions are shown in secondary product images. The images show it needing about a 22-inch-square space to fit in, but one customer said it fits in 20 inches; this probably varies depending on how far you extend the legs (they get slightly wider as they get taller, due to the angle).

Answer:	Not soft and definitely not cushiony. It is a hard foam, and I would say it makes it not as cold as sitting on hard plastic. It also does not "hold" water as I was afraid it would do. So no mold problems. Hope that helps.

Question:	Is the back removable
Answer:	Yes, it attaches with 4 screws under the seat. During assembly you can opt to leave it off or remove after it's assembled, but not with a simple release clasp, only by unscrewing it from the seat.
Question:	Will this fit into a small and or narrow tub
Answer:	Possibly, we bought for an RV. Fits fine, but I would highly recommend measuring your tub with the seat's dimensions to make sure. Also, my seat does not have a back.

Answer:	I didn't get that exact chair , same one without the back, which I really like. But no they are made in Taiwan

Answer:	It's plastic, but it has remained crystal clear after being in the weather/sun all summer.

Answer:	In appearance, the Hayward looks identical and the 60 psi range is the same. Pressure gauges last about a year in our environment. I have had 3 in the last four years, all from different manufacturers. The connector has been the same fitting on all. I bought two.The purchased replacement is working fine and I have a spare for less cost than one Hayward.
