Answer:	I just posted about this. The bin sits too high on the cabinet door hook so that my cabinet door won't close. If it was about 1/8-1/4" lower it would be fine. The wall mounting attachment could work, except that it fits very, very snuggly so I can't easily remove the bin from the wall mount. I need to be able to easily remove the bin so I can dump the contents into my curbside yard bin for my hauler.

Answer:	The description says the holes are 7/16” diagonally measured. They appear to be square holes. A little geometry tells us that a square with 7/16" diagonal dimension (hypotenuse) will have have sides that re about 5/16" each. This means the holes are 5/16 inch square. it's NOT 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch or what.

Answer:	I'm a doberman breeder, it is plenty of water for a pack of large dogs. These lixit dog water dispensers work great for years, avoids old dirty water sitting around or becoming contaminated. Answer:	I've had these (one manufacturer or another) for almost 30 years. Current dog is 130 pounds of rottweiler. Hold the center spike down and water flows. Dog drinks the water. Move your hand and the dog licks the water remaining on the spike which causes it to keep flowing. Training finished. Anymore he cocks his head, holds the spike up with one fang, and the water flows into his mouth. Not rocket science. If your dog can't figure it out after a couple times, you need a new dog.

Question:	How much do these things smell? Want to put composter inside a small area behind our shed if the smell won't nauseate the kiddos
Answer:	We have one in our backyard and I almost never smell it. The only time I have noticed a smell has been when the lid is open and I am dumping more kitchen scraps in it and even then it's not that often. All the compost books say if it does smell bad that means you need more greens or browns depending on the smell.

Answer:	I wouldn't use this in your situation. It would definitely stain the patio. I'd find a different design. Also you'll need to make sure you have enough dry material in the composter or it will stink if your compost is mostly kitchen scraps. In your situation I'd probably go for worm composting. My daughter made a vermicompost kit out of a couple of inexpensive storage bins at a camp a number of years ago. One has holes drilled into it and the other is solid so any worms or leakage will go into the outer bin. Question:	How do the top doors open? Easy enough to do one handed? Do they keep out the raccoons
Answer:	I have not had any problems with raccoons or rodents at all. The top locks tightly. And yes, I can open it one handed to throw in a small amount of scraps but otherwise, two hands work better to take the entire top off when adding large amounts, leaves or twigs and grass clippings. Remember to turn it at least once a week - I use a pitchfork to do that task. Good luck!

Question:	Are these activated charcoal filters
Answer:	I wash them with dish detergent and let dry. They seem to be a charcoal product
Question:	Any tips for the best way to clean out bugs/mites that bury into the filters
Answer:	I just change them out about every 6 to 8 weeks. I throw them away. I have not had any bug issues.

Question:	why would I need square filters if I have a round bin
Answer:	Two filters are used for the lid at the same time. The square filter goes in the top layer and the round on the bottom. The two filters help with better odor control.
