Answer:	It's not water resistant. It's made of cotton denim similar to jeans material. It's pretty strong, does not state a weight limit but it held a 4 piece 9 ft. Artificial tree and the metal support.

Answer:	It’s more like a duffle bag. I bought it last year and the end of the tree went right through the bag and I didn’t even have it stood up.

Answer:	Well, the sides are soft, so it doesn't keep it's shape. The ropes around it are adjustable so you can fit it to the fullness level (like a seat belt) so you can keep your items secure while moving it. I'm not sure if it's wider on one end but I like it. I was able to fit in my 6 ft tree disassembled in it along with tinsel, tree stand, lights and ornaments.
