Question:	Is it easy to clean, especially the grinding burr
Answer:	Dunno where it’s made, I’d guess china. It grinds well, very even. But it makes a mess. The mesh point between the ground canister and the grinder isn’t snug enough and grounds go everywhere each time you take it out to put grounds into coffee maker. If I had a do-over I’d buy a more expensive model, hopefully one that was manufacturer more precisely.
Question:	My grinder uses a timer to dispense just the right amount for my French Press. Seems like Baraza will be more irritating work. Is it? How does it go
Answer:	The coursest setting is far too fine. I don't like it for pour-over and it would be awful for French press. I can't imagine it working well for cold brew.
Question:	I'm having trouble grinding anything finer than around a 7 - if I put it on a 4-6 (for espresso), the beans just pop around - what am I doing wrong
Answer:	I used to have this problem with another brand of grinder. I used a long narrow strip of Al foil stuck in the ground coffee container of the unit and the other end lying on a damp sponge or towel on the counter. This disperses the static electricity and largely eliminates the problem. YMMV

Answer:	Yes, the replacement glass is made and labeled by Bodum. Way cheaper than a whole new press. This is probably the 4th replacement I have purchased for my French press purchased about 15 years ago.
Question:	Why aren't replacment parts available
Answer:	Hello and thanks for asking ... as my answer will save you a lot of grief and dollars. Even Bodum coffee presses are different sizes. I ordered this Beeker and it was too wide at the bottom to fit. The company, when contacted, told me that I had to pay the postage back PLUS a 25% restocking fee. It wasn't worth the effort or cost. I would never purchase from this company again. I hope that my answer has helped you. perhaps if you contacted the company that made your press ... they could supply you with the correct replacement . :)

Question:	Is there a plastic filter in this product
Answer:	Yeah I won't buy this carafe for more than the whole press assembly will cost me. I was looking for a metal nut to replace the plastic one that comes with the Bodum Brazil 51oz that stripped on mine. Turns out the larger cold brew press comes with a metal one which I was able to switch out with the plastic from the Brazil. Apparently the plastic isn't dishwasher safe. But for 20 bucks just get a new press. Crazy

Important Attentions

1. The materials ready for grinding must be dry. Wet, moisture or oil materials are not suitable to be ground into powder. Dry the materials as much as possible before grinding, and then grind it when it is completely cool.
2. Recommend grinding capacity one time：the material you gonna to grind one time must cover the long blade in the middle and no more than 2/3 of the tank. Because the grinding tank needs a space to complete the cycle of the blades and the material to be ground. Do not fill the grinding tank to full otherwise it will cause overload.
3. Recommend use time: no more than 3 minutes. General grains only need 30s to be ground into powder. If you are not satisfied with the grinding effect, you can sieve out the coarse particles with a mesh screen and grind it again for finer powder. It need take 5-10 minutes to rest after every 3 minutes of work. If you grinding some hard items, there should has a interval which is to prevent bearing overheating, damage to the motor.
4. You need check the blade and the nut is loose or not before grinding. To ensure safety, the nut should be tightened before grinding. After long-term use, blades and carbon brushes need to be replaced if they are worn.D
5. Don't clean the grinding tank with the water directly. Keep water away the grinding tank and use dried rag or brush to clean the machine.
6. The motor of the grinder is the brush motor, so some sparks and brush frictional odor is normal when the first several uses, which will disappear after you use the machine some times later. You can Grind some Rice or Dried Tea first for several times to eliminate the odor.
