Exacto Pourer Operating Instructions:

• Simply attach the Exacto Pourer to your bottle

Please shake the pourer before using to ensure that the steel ball is not stuck. Make sure you have a airtight seal.

Make sure you turn the bottle to a high angle(roughly 60 degree angle) when pouring. The bottle does have to be upside down while pouring or it will not stop.

Step 3

To dispense another measure you must turn the bottle upright again. Your measured pour spout is now primed!

It requires about 19 mm - 22mm of the bottle neck when using.

How to use?

STEP 1 WASHING

Before using Precision Pour Liquor pours, soak them in warm soapy water for approximately 5 minutes. Do NOT place in a dishwasher or use water that is too hot to touch. After washing, rinse pours thoroughly in cold water.

STEP 2 INSERTING

If pours have dried, dampen them with cold water before inserting. When inserting a pour into a bottle, twist slightly and push until snug. Typically, only three rings of the cork will fit into the bottle. Some bottles (1.75 liters, Absolut vodka, etc.) require all four rings inserted to prevent leakage. If the bottle is too large to insert the pour, make an adapter from the cap of the bottle.Never force the pour into the bottle, as it may crack or break.

STEP 3 PRIMING

Prime the pour by holding a finger over the spout and quickly turning the bottle over. Prime pours before the first use and after each cleaning. If the pours are not primed, the first shot poured may not be measured accurately.

STEP 4 POURING

When pouring, turn the bottle in a smooth motion to a 45-60 degree angle (approx. 2 o’clock). Precision Pours are designed to pour fast, but, as with any liquor pour, never whip the bottle into pouring position.

Answer:	The noted Ameripour upper (largest) circular fin diameter is 1.11 inches should seal a liquor bottle with an internal diameter of 1.00 inch.

Answer:	The stopper has ridges that project out from the body of the stopper. The diameter of the stopper's body is .70 inches and tapers to .75 inches. There are two ridges that are 1.125 inches in diameter and two smaller ridges measuring 1.000 inches. With these measurements, the maximum size bottle's diameter probably will be 1 inch. A Patron Silver 1.75 L bottle measures 1.25 inches, so these stoppers are too small for that size bottle. However, a 750 L bottle is sealed perfectly with these stoppers, and that bottle measures .85 inches (22mm). I suppose a 1.000 inch bottle would seal with these stoppers, but might drip just a drop or two while pouring.

HOW TO POUR A MEASURED VOLUME OF LIQUID: Step 1 - Before using the pourer, soak it in warm, soapy water for 10-12 minutes, then rinse in cold water. Step 2 – In order to install, wet the cork in warm water and push the pourer straight into the bottle, making sure the collar fits snuggly over the opening. Step 3 - Hold the bottle at a 45-degree angle when pouring. Ensure a naturally pouring motion is used; do not try to "whip" or "baby" the bottle into pouring position. Step 4 - When the bottle is low, allow liquor to reach the neck of the bottle before tilting the 45-degree angle. Place the spout to the lip of the glass, then raise the tail of the bottle. Step 5 - To wash, soak the pourer in warm, soapy water, then rinse in cold water. Step 6 - If cork fins flatten, run it under hot water for approximately 30 seconds, then run under cold water. This will straighten the fins. To remove, twist and pull straight up out of the bottle. For best performance with spirits, we recommend to wash it weekly, when used with cordials, syrups, or juices, wash nightly. NOTE: Do not run through the dishwasher or wash in extremely hot water.
