Answer:	The first page is blank as is the second. Kind of like how books are printed with a thicker quality paper as a binding page. Then it goes right into lines journal pages. Though the first page and the last page aren’t quiet as wide cause they’re stuck to the binding pages. And don’t try to pull it apart cause the whole journal loses its structural integrity. Also at the end there is a pocket that you can store things in

Answer:	I've used both. Moleskin has thicker paper so you don't get the bleed through if you use fountain pens, cover/binding is somewhat stronger as well. For the AmazonBasics i use Gel pens, or Pencils no bleed through paper as thinner, i have also covered the cover/binding with contact paper clear/Pattern to add strength, you don't have to but i found it helps keeping them looking nice during everyday use. AB Notebook isn't the top quality, but for the price it is pretty nice.

Answer:	I have both. This notebook (the Markings) used to be a great deal; I payed $6 and some change for mine several months ago. However, now that the price has doubled (and is more expensive than the comparable Moleskine), there is only one reason one would buy the Markings journal over its Italian counterpart: capacity. While the Moleskine has only 192 pages, the Markings has 240. But, while it has more paper, Markings' paper quality control is a crapshoot. I use fountain pens, and this is an issue. My brown Markings journals perform very poorly with my pens (lots of skipping and flow issues), but my black one is better; not on par with Moleskine, but close. If you use pencils, then this probably won't be an issue for you. Overall, it's clear the degree of quality Moleskine holds itself to far surpasses Markings'. When I use my Markings, I feel like I'm using a sub-par product. When I use my Moleskine, I feel like I'm using a refined and purposeful product.Try this brand if you want, but I personally would rather pay less money for a Moleskine and get a much better chance at quality paper; even if there's less of it.

Answer:	The paper is not ivory nor is it white white... I'd call it just off white. The quality is nice however. Thicker than I expected and does great with my fountain pens. I've not tried it with a dip pen however if it works well with the fountain pens I'd think it ok to use a dip pen on.

Question:	Is the glycine arctic notebook white or grey
Answer:	Hi, I apologize up front for this highly subjective reply, but here goes. I don't have this particular notebook but I have 3 others and looking at them in person vs. how they look online, I would say the colors online are a bit brighter. On the glycine arctic notebook, my impression is the image of the bear is going to be a light grey and the cover will be a dim white. The covers have a texture to them and that may impact how a person sees the color. Unfortunately there are many shades of white, black, blue, etc. so it is hard to discuss it without a reference. But thanks for the question, I did not know they had this new notebook and I like it enough to order one!
Question:	Several questions have noted that the dots are 5mm apart. Is that also true of the grid version? How many squares per page vertically and horizontally
Answer:	Hi there! For the grid versions of our notebooks, there are 31 squares across the page and 42 squares down. If you have any other questions, just let us know!
