Answer:	It would not stand up if you extended it all the way up. I use it in my recliner and have the last two folded facing away from me and that gives it the leverage I need to use it while sitting and when I finish I can sit is on the table without worrying about it falling over. I guess it is about 7 inches high the way I have it so all the way would be about, and I'm guessing, 21 inches tall, maybe a bit more or less. I can't imagine it standing the way the picture to the left shows. I think if you had a laptop on it it would fall over. Hope this helps.. :)

If I slide my apple wireless keyboard under the stand until it touches the base about half the keyboard is covered by the overhanging stand. And there's room enough to type comfortably. I have the keyboard under the stand right now and I'm typing without hitting the laptop or stand.EDIT: Just in case I misunderstood your question, my answer above was assuming you meant could the keyboard sit in front of the base, but under the overhang. Finally, 4 bricks - the number determined necessary to hold a 13-15" Macbook Pro by previous comments - weigh more and are not nearly as stylish or easy to move as this stand. We have found that when sitting on a couch or recliner, the feet of the stand are sitting on the cushion and it can move easily if its a very fluffy cushion rather than a flat, firm cushion that you would find on a leather couch. Answer:	I don't think it matters the step height because you're pulling the cart up and when back wheels clears the edge of the step then it rotates to catch the top of the step and it doesn't matter if there is a back of the step or not.

Answer:	I'm 62 and I am taking a college class at night. I have four big text books and a bible in it. The wheels are great and the waterproof bag was wonderful to have tonight because it was pouring rain. None of my books got water on them. I lifted the whole case and l was able to lye it on the back seat when it was full. I don't know how much it weighs but when it is empty I lift it with one hand I love it.
