Answer:	When you point the remote in the direction that you place them. They turn on at the same time. Not sure about the distance, never tried. Mine are grouped together. I have four on one side of the room and four on the other. Mine are on a timer. They all turn on one after the other, like a half second after the other. So I’m guessing the further apart. They should turn on only when remote is directed to them.

Answer:	The front legs are 6.5 inches long. The back legs are 3.25 inches long. I didn't bolt the back legs on because it sits flush with the frame of my fireplace, so it won't fall back.

Answer:	The screen can extend to a maximum of 47" and still stand...not real stable if you bumped into it but still works just fine and stands alone. I have mine extended to about 45" and that works well. My fireplace opening is about 40". Hope this helps
