Answer:	No, these are for listening to live music. The just make live concerts a little less loud. If you want something that blocks noise, these are not the type of earplugs you want.

Answer:	No they don't muffle sound. You can hear all of the notes and sounds very clearly, but the overall decibels are reduced. These are appropriate for musicians and fans of music. I attend quite a few multiple day festivals and I don't like having any reduction in my ability to hear because of loud concerts (though I love loud music). These allow me to be right up front and to go to concerts for several days in a row without having ringing in my hears afterwards. With musicians ear plugs, I can still hear all of the music clearly and it's plenty loud still, but my ears don't hurt afterwards. They are absolutely worth having. And they aren't like the cheap foam earplugs that are designed to protect hearing from loud industrial noises.

Question:	How do you clean them
Answer:	I wet a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol and clean them. This is preferable to soaking the plug in alcohol which might deform their shape. Otherwise just dilute Dawn dish soap in water, still using a Q-tip to clean the crevices. These are great, I've been to several very loud concerts this year and was able to enjoy them more with Eardials over the industrial foam plugs I usually use.
Question:	Why is the snr rating (20 db reduction) so much higher than the nnr rating (11 db)? which one is more accurate? shouldn't they be approx the same
Answer:	No, they are never the same, you can check any other test result for any other earplug. Although there is no direct SNR/NRR conversion, the NRR is always lower because it takes into account standard deviation and the calculation method is slightly different. I personally think that SNR is more accurate and NRR is the worst case scenario in edge cases.
Question:	Would these earplugs work for shooting
Answer:	Buy active over the ear protection for shooting. They cost around $40-100 and will have you hearing people whispering while completely blocking out the damaging volume of a gunshot. Guns are so loud that depending on what I'm shooting sometimes I use earplugs and over the ear at the same time. With active protection you can just crank the volume up all the way so you can still hear people talking just fine.
Question:	anyone compare the sound quality to earasers
Answer:	I'm not familiar with earasers, but having a quick look online, it looks that their attenuation curve is way to low in the lower frequencies. Our attenuation is more in the line of what is called flat attenuation across levels, to ensure the sound reach your ears without distortion.

Question:	Are thesr plugs good for airflight to relieve the pressure changes
Answer:	I developed chronic migraines about two years ago and became very sensitive to sound and these allow me to be in social situations again without worrying about triggering a migraine. When I'm wearing these and talk to people it sounds like when I have a head congestion and my ears are blocked. Question:	How many dB noise reduced by this pair
Answer:	NRR 16 = -4.5dB reduction. Don't believe any of the other stuff. Signal to noise is a measure of the level of the desired signal to the level of background noise. Higher S/N equals clarity of sound. Background noise is -30dB, a headphone with 84dB spl is very good. A claim of 21 S/N is nonsense

Answer:	I'm curious as to how far you are inserting them into your ear canal that they protrude as you describe. They have to seat well enough into your ear that just the "stem" is poking out. Use care / common sense when in proximity to things that may bump your ears of course, but in everyday use, you should be fine. When I use them, the stem is almost barely noticeable unless you are looking for them.

Question:	Are these good to block out snoring noises and still comfortable to sleep on for side sleepers
Answer:	Yes. These earplugs have the same exact stem as the Etymotic ER20 plugs (the rubber part is probably "Large fit"). You can buy the cord for the other plugs, but unfortunately it costs nearly as much as the plugs themselves. If you really want a cord, buy the ER20's and now you have a cord and a spare pair of plugs and case.
Question:	Does it have a mic? Or is just for hearing, not calling
Answer:	It really depends on the headphones you're using. If they don't have a cup depth (space between your outer ear and the innermost part of the headphone) of at least 1/2 inch, you may feel the earplugs rubbing against the headphone. Another consideration is how large the tone holes in your headphones are. Theoretically one of the stems could go through the hole and perforate the transducer. I tried these with my old (80's era) Pro/450 Koss headphones and there was some friction.
Question:	Are they effective for shooting sports
Answer:	Not for me. I don't like the foam plugs either, but this type of ear plug uses soft rubber seals that are far more comfortable. More effective quieting, too, because they fit better & create a better seal.
Question:	How does the comfort and sound quality compare to "Eargasm" style earplugs
Answer:	It's still difficult to tell. I usually sound check without them in, then put them in. As with any earplugs it's not going to sound the same, but I've found any "tree design" earplugs, like these are WAY better than foam earplugs.

Question:	Do they help with tinnitus
Answer:	Yes EAROS ONE is very comfortable for sleeping, as it sits flush against the ear unlike other hearing protection that sticks out and can be bothersome when lying on a pillow. EAROS ONE will reduce the noise level you experience, however you will still hear sound around you clearly, so you may still hear some snoring (albeit at a quieter volume).

Answer:	The case is garbage. If you put a pair into it, they get stuck because of how narrow the case is. Case will hold one pair, but unless you keep chopsticks or tweezers in your pocket you won’t be able to get them out. I had to use keys to get them out and destroyed one. Threw that pair in trash along with the case and just used the other pair. I keep the good pair in a ziplock now.
