Question:	Just bought one, wondering which household tools will twist onto the pole
Answer:	Really easy. I finished the installation within 3 minutes and began to enjoy using it to get fruits without a danger ladder. Highly recommended.
Question:	Once you have grabbed the fruit, how do u get the pole to slide back down again? Are there release clips toward the bottom of the pole
Answer:	I had to look up pictures of how avocados grow to see if they hang down from branches. Some of the pictures showed huge clumps all growing close together. That might be hard to pick a single fruit. It also depends on how tough the stem connecting the fruit to the tree is. The picker works by catching the fruit in the basket with the stem catching between the wire "fingers". You then pull down and out a little so the fruit separates from the branch. If the stem is too tough it probably wouldn't work.
Question:	How does this work? We have an avacodo tree with fruit we can't reach. Does it somehow grab the fruit so we can pull it from the tree
Answer:	Not at all. This fruit picker is made of lightweight stainless steel, I buy several 13ft fruit pickers to help my grandpa getting apples, it is really lightweight and easy to operate.

Answer:	The jaws pinch together tightly and I would think they could hold onto a rattlesnake. But I have the shorter version of this and I don't think I'd want to be that close to the rattlesnake. The longer version of this would suit better...for me anyway.
Question:	Can you lock the gripper? Meaning do I manually have to hold trigger down to keep object between grips
Answer:	I was all set to answer that "Sorry, you can't lock the gripper" when my husband happened by. Long story short, he picked up the gripper looked at it for about ten seconds and said: It could be modified --no wait, give me your pen and he had the gripper locked . First, the circumference of the pen is key. Mine was a Pilot Acroball. Pull the trigger so that the gripper tips are touching. This will create an open triangular space at the top of the trigger. Simply insert the pen, piece of dowling, or whatever is at hand, into the space, and the gripper is locked. It's sort of a Rube Goldberg solution, but for an occasional need it works!

Answer:	I find this set to be durable, and effective. Since I purchased it I have been buying locks and testing them using this set to open, and have experienced no bending or quality issues. Minimal tension is needed to open almost all locks, and even in locks where a bit more tension is needed there has been no bending.
