Answer: | I have converted the English measurements (old) into American measurements, I still have an English measuring cup. For 4 servings, I use 2 cups of milk, I prefer almond breeze coconut unsweetened milk, 3 level tablespoons of custard powder, 3 tablespoons of sugar, (American measurements). I put the milk to boil, (high heat) in the meantime I mix the powder with some of the milk I reserve, add the sugar and mix until smooth. Once the milk starts to boil, I take it off the stove and stir in the powder mixture and mix until smooth. I return the pan to the stove stirring constantly, it usually thickens in about 1 minute, I let it boil for another minute under medium heat, then I pour it into serving dishes. I double the amount if I’m making trifle. Hope this helps! |

Answer: | From my point of view, it is more work than it's worth. All of my recipes are for 4 or 6 quart machines, so none will work with this unit. Purchased mixes don't taste as good to me as my homemade from scratch ones. No ice, no salt is true, but you have to freeze the insulated mixing bowl for a minimum of 12 hours before using it. 24 hours works better, and then refreeze the contents you don't use right away, in the bowl, so you can dispense them using the machine again. Plus, it's mostly plastic. If you drop it, it breaks and needs to be replaced. My opinion, stay with a 4 or 6 quart electric machine that lasts and produces more ice cream. |

Answer: | Maybe, but the problem would be the coldness of the bowl. If you quickly scraped out the first flavor and immediately put in the mix for the next flavor it might work as long as the bowl doesn't warm up. You couldn't wash it out as that would warm the bowl. Take turns making their favorite flavors. |

Not to mention their pH level and skin is drastically different then ours and you would not be bathing and rinsing them like you would your own hair |
