Q4: Where is the reset button, and how can I reset the extender?

The reset button is on the bottom of the extender beside the Ethernet Port. By using the card pin to press and hold the reset button for a while, then it will cause the extender to restart.



Q5: What can you do when your devices lose connection with the extender frequently?

Please check if the extender works properly, then reduce the distance between your devices and extender.

Answer:	Yes, this will work in repeater mode without connection to a switch or router. ( have the single-band model). POE is Power over Ethernet; they are using the CAT cable to the device for power, and as an OPTION the local connection may be Ethernet to a switch or router, but is not required to be. In practice, I find this difficult to switch to new source WiFi when traveling. Would also like to see the power source be DC, or other than an AC adapter. Great concept for product, just needs a little attention.

Question:	can i put different password aside from the main router password? so only me can use my extender
Answer:	I would like to give you some personal advice. Do not buy any type of Netgear extender. They do not work at all. What you need to do is get a expensive router that is the best thing for your Wi-Fi system. Amazon can supply you with that. Or go to Best Buy and test it out. Trust me extenders do not work. You’re throwing your money away.
Question:	Does it need to be plugged in near the router
Answer:	Try using the extender's IP address - just enter 192.168.1.250 in the browser window, while the unit is powered and in close proximity to your router, which should be powered also, of course !
Question:	Is it dual voltage 110v/220v?I need an accurate answer
Answer:	The wifi range extender gets really warm when its plugged in. I personally keep it out of sunlight areas to avoid overheating Hope this helps
