Answer:	I would like to give you some personal advice. Do not buy any type of Netgear extender. They do not work at all. What you need to do is get a expensive router that is the best thing for your Wi-Fi system. Amazon can supply you with that. Or go to Best Buy and test it out. Trust me extenders do not work. You’re throwing your money away.

Answer:	Try using the extender's IP address - just enter 192.168.1.250 in the browser window, while the unit is powered and in close proximity to your router, which should be powered also, of course !

Basically the powered antenna hooks to the RP-SMA slot, then has the powered hub, and then you put a % dbi antenna on it and it'll get 2x more antenna strength. Even 2x more then what you'll use for a higher DBI antenna. So if you use a 24dbi antenna, it'd more be like a 48dbi antenna. Answer:	This is a wireless access point not a router, that means that it only provides a wireless signal for computers, tablets phones etc. It must have a wired connection to it from the internet. It does not have a firewall so if you have a internet connection only at this time you should get a model with a router/firewall not this model.

Answer:	It's going to be connected to the same network and can have the same SSID. I use mine as an access point at the other end of the my house and gave it a slightly different name so I would know which device (my router also has wireless connectivity). I could always look at signal strength and tell the difference, but I like the slightly different name.

Answer:	Also note that the ethernet port is only 100Mbit. So if your existing WiFi is usually capable of more than 100Mbit, for example your WiFi internet is 150Mbit or more, you will only get around 100Mbit or a little less to your ethernet device. You'd have to pay a little more money for a different device with a GigaBit ethernet port if you want to get anything more than 100Mbit out of this ethernet port.

Answer:	Mu understanding is yes.
Question:	can you connect it via ethernet and then use it to extend even further away from the base router
Answer:	Check your firmware, including satellites. There was an update (V1.0.4.96_2.0.41) to resolve 2.4 device drops. The MR .chk file is different from the satellite (MS) updates. I didn't see anything for 5ghz issues.
Question:	Does it work with Cox gateway
Answer:	What you are probably looking at us a modem/router list, not a router list. This does not have a modem, so make sure you have a modem before buying this. If what you have now is s modem/router, do not connect this to that. It takes technical knowledge to make this work using another router. You need to buy a modem, activate that modem with spectrum and then connect this to the modem.
Question:	Does it work for play station
Answer:	There is a wall mount that can be purchased separately for this device. I mounted one satellite and placed the other on a flat surface. I’m not fond of the wall mount for it but it works.

Answer:	My Mesh supports multiple administrators to manage your WiFi. Use the main administrator to log in (The user who set up the WiFi and logged in as the first person, is the main administrator) to authorize other accounts to manage in the setting.
Question:	Do you have to have an Internet provider in order for this to work
Answer:	You can connect this M7 system to any internet access with an RJ45 outlet (typically to the modem, the internet gateway, a LAN outlet in your existing router if you run MeshForce on bridge setting, a Verizon Fios Optical Network Terminal, etc.). Modem normally refers to the box that connects your system to your ISP / main internet access - it typically has a female RJ45 outlet on one side where you can plug in your router and an interface specific to your ISP on the other side (optical fiber, coax cable, etc). The router is really the part that the M7 system would replace or be connected to. To my understanding, this means (at least) three options: 1) You can replace your existing router with M7 and connect the M7 to the internet gateway via an RJ45 cable (plugged into the indicated WAN input on the M7 node on one side and to the modem on the other side of the cable) - simplest, and most typical, scenario 2) You can change the existing router setup to bridge mode (or equivalent mode / terminology for that specific existing router) and use the M7 as primary router - most technical scenario with variations depending on your existing router... This requires investigation, potential use of different router configurations / software, planning about wired connections, etc. This however keeps all the functionalities of M7 while still providing reduced functionality for your existing router. 3) You can keep your existing router as is and connect the M7 to it in bridge mode - this is a scenario where the existing router still allocates connections to the internet for the different devices in your system/house but uses M7 for a wider, more efficient reach in your house / location. This keeps all the functionalities of your existing router and provides more limited M7 functionalities than the other two options. I hope this helps.

Question:	I managed to get on the internet through connecting to the repeater. however, my computer shows its connection is "unsecured." should i be concerned
Answer:	After installing my meshforce, it works great with all wifi systems except my Ring doorbell. I must reset and reinstall it after it's been rung. Ring support has been useless. I've had to remove the Ring cover over 20 times to reset it. My other wifi cameras have no problem, in fact, they work better. It's just the Ring pro. I hope the Euler won't have the same problem.
