Answer:	Hello. I use this product quite often. It holds very well, seals very well. I just put some on my differential fill plug and seals it great. To answer your question, this product, when first put on threaded hardware will be wet and soft and be able to seal low pressure and intermediate pressure. Parts can be readjusted, torqued, etcetera with in 24 hours of application. 72 hours just means it is fully cured and can withstand higher pressures. But, once applied, it holds very well within hours. Definitely within 24 hours. It does not solidify, it stays wet and soft. It's good stuff. Hope this helped. BJ

DIRECTIONS

1. For best results, clean parts with Permatex Surface Prep activator.
2. Knead tube of Thread Sealant before use.
3. Apply sealant to leading threads of the male fitting, leaving the first thread free of sealant.
4. Assemble parts and tighten to recommended torque.

I would order the small/medium in the backpack, it comes with 2 bags of food that would feed 2 small dogs under 20lbs for 72 hours and there would be enough water as well. Answer:	What is on your valves is exactly this Loctite product. Primary use is sealant in place "as supplied" from the manufacturer.

Answer:	It probably will for a while , but it will leak again . If the fitting is loose you could try teflon tape or you could try to tap the hole out a little and try to turn the fitting one complete turn to get it to tighten up.

Answer:	To my knowledge it will only work if you put it inside the threads - as you are assembling it. And it works pretty well doing that. Worked on a 3000+ psi hydraulic connection that was continually leaking.

Answer:	The special edition is no doubt like many other products listed on Amazon a seller attempting to use the false label of a "special edition" to lure buyers to buy from them at a higher price, without prime shipping and more often than not slower shipping. I am willing to bet if you contact the maker of the product that they do not produce a "special edition".

Answer:	I tried a number of things to seal a brass tee into a motorcycle oil pressure outlet. Nothing worked 'til I tried this stuff. Be sure to clean the threads well beforehand. If the stuff is rated for fuel, I'm sure it'll work for your application. It's good stuff.

Answer:	The label does not specify suitability with gasoline. It is suitable with heating oil, so diesel is probably fine. For gasoline I would use a product specifically rated for such use.
